Thank god, that Warrior helmet was atrocious.

I never noticed this before, but there's a Brian's Lack Custom goalie gear option which appears to be Eddie Lack's custom gear (hence the name). Leave it to EA to implement custom gear for a certain individual and then not equip it on him (he's wearing the standard Brian's Focus gear in the game).

Looks like Schneider was wearing new pads in the warm up today. Not sure what they were, though.

Cory's new equipment:

Blocker - Reebok Premiere IV
Pads - Vaughn V5 7800 (not in game, 7700 is the closest)
Stick - Warrior Swagger
Trapper - Reebok Premiere IV

David Booth has been cleared to play and will probably return on his original line.

PK2 has been Kesler and Burrows on forward for a while.

Edler and Rome both need S19 helmets (no E700 in the game).

Hodgson needs a 9900 with X:60 gloves and a TotalOne.

Malholtra needs a curved visor.

Burrows needs the V10.
seriously, im getting mad, the sedins should be a 94 overall. i believe they have been the best 2 players in the past 2 years and they are still doing great, and point wise as well, even ask the art ross trophy...
The Sedin-Sedin-Burrows line has the easiest job in the NHL, given plump scoring opportunities. The Sedins' scoring totals are not as impressive when viewed in this light.

Henrik still leads the league in points, but GVT is less impressed by his lack of defensive responsibilities, with no penalty-killing time and starting nearly 80 percent of his non-neutral shifts in the offensive zone.

something to think about. I think 94 should be reserved for ppl who play both ends of the ice. 94 offensive talent. defensive talent below 80 maybe lower

When you have a Selke winner as your #2 center in Ryan Kesler and Malhotra, who was NHL.com's Selke front-runner for the first 3/4 of last season, as your #4 center, both of whom are well in excess of 50% in the circle (Malhotra usually hovering around 60%), you're probably going to use those guys for defensive zone face-offs and defensive assignments in general.

It wasn't that long ago that the Sedins were regular penalty killers for the Canucks, playing more than 2 minutes per game on the PK. Just because they no longer have the defensive responsibilities, it doesn't mean they're defensive liabilities.

Also, if you look at other guys who are in the Top 10 in scoring with the Sedins, most of them are playing 2 minutes more per game than the Sedins. Over 45 games, that's an extra 90 minutes on the ice. How many more points do you think the Sedins could put up with an extra 90 minutes on the ice, even if they took more defensive zone faceoffs ?

Should they be 94s ? Probably not ... Should they be "below 80 maybe lower"" on defense ? Definitely not, especially when you consider how EA sets their attributes. Even mediocre AHLers are in the mid-to-high 70s in defensive attributes.

I'm just going to keep repeating this until it's done.

I get the feeling they're not going to do any more equipment changes

Has anyone else noticed that Adam Polasek has a 6 million dollar contract?

I honestly don't think the devs read these threads anymore. I stopped updating it because the roster updates to that point didn't reflect the current line-up at the time (or even within a few weeks; or ever. When was Ballard ever on the power play regularly? He's played a whopping total of 9.5 minutes on the PP this season and most of that was at the end of games when we were up by several goals. Yet I had to swap him off for like 2-3 weeks on OVP for Edler every time).
