I think a good addition for 2010 would be having some basic control over your player's demeanour at the post-match handshake.

I played last night (two wins, two losses) and in one game got totally hit off the court by a Roddick. I dislike playing Roddicks but such was the performance I would like to have had some kind way of showing respect. One way of doing this would be the option to press a certain direction on the pad to control your players behaviour at the handshake.

Say hitting down makes the losing playing act standoffish and go for a quick shake while hitting up would make him go for a fulsome congratulation. The winning player could have the option of an exuberant celebration or express sympathy with the defeated opponent.

I only play the game online and would like some indication of how my opponent thousands of miles away found the game. For me sometimes it is a all-out war (when my opponent does endless lobbed returns, etc) and sometimes it is game played in the Corinthian spirit (when people try to accommodate the serve bug, etc).

Another thing I would like is the option to raise the racquet in apology after a fortunate net cord.

Any thoughts?

Add me!

I recommend adding this to the official GST2 wishlist (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/15/244433.page), I already posted similar thoughts to yours, but I didn't mention the handshake at the net.

Here's one of the points I wrote there:

Player controlled gesturing after points: make it possible to applaud someone, to excuse yourself, to laugh/smile, to be angry etc.; would be more social interaction this way during game

Yes, it would be nice!

Also I would like to type personal messages, instead of pre-defined messages.

See the game already pisses me off cause when I loose its usually but not always because of errors with the game or the mote. It does not do what I intend so when I loose I feel the other guy thinks he really beat me. And to have him throw a party in my face after! Or to give me the finger!! Well let's just say I dreally don't want to throw my wii off my balcony into oncoming traffic!!! Feel me?
