PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!

If you wish to post a "good game" message to a recent opponent, you'll want to add it to this thread rather than creating a new topic (or you can always PM them). You can use this thread to simply congratulate/thank an opponent, or to publicly announce scores or other details of a game you played.

My suggestion is that if you would like to address a particular player, begin your post with the "@" symbol, followed by the player's name. Then highlight the text, and make it bold by hitting the "B" button in the post editor controls, and make the font one size larger by selecting "Big" from the Font drop-down menu. That will make it easier to find specific references to players within the thread.

Here's an example post:

Awesome game today! I thought I had you until your amazing putt on 16. Well done. We should it again sometime!

Please note that you should only use the special formatting if you are the first to post about a particular match. If you are responding to a good game post like the one above, you should still use the "@" symbol and the player's name, but in plain text at the default size. So if you wanted to respond to my above post, you could do something like this:

Good match yesterday. Was excited to have drawn you. Easily the best thing that happened on a day when I started getting pretty ill (I believe I have the flu got insanely lucky on the 82 foot putt on 16. Would love to rematch sometime when I am up to it.

I edited your post to show how to make a good game post. And this is an example of a response to your post. Notice I address you without the bold or larger font. If you guys think the formatting is too annoying, we can skip it, but I thought it would help the readability of the thread if we end up getting a lot of posts on here.

Nice game, i let you win.i dont know why your really stubborn about the putting,but you made some hard putts.i wasnt sure how i hit it over the green at the first with that headwind.hope we can have a precision game sometime.

LongHowie - Played you as GaCracker this morning. Close game until you AHOed back to back on 16 and 17 and broke my heart. Those two strokes were the difference in the match.

GREAT game, what a rush to have a chance to play a ranked game against a top 10 player. Not many of ya´ll do that with a low level (10) guy.
But I am sure you didnt play 100 % because up to the last hole I was birddogging you, which I could not believe.

Cool game IVA, you certainly cleaned my clock. I am getting VERY frustrated because I am getting my bootie kicked all over, my ranking drops like a rocket powered brick and a level 7 player beats me by something like 11 strokes.
