We have seen a number of posts from people who have experienced strange visual effects after having saved a Game Face – such as ‘looking Martian’. I’d like to invite you all to post screenshots of:

1. The original photos
2. Your Web Game Face
3. Your In-Console Virtual Pro

That way we can help you identify the issues that might have caused them or else work to correct any bugs in the tool.

Also with your issue can you all please provide the following information:

1. What is the main issue that you are running into? Where are you being help up at in the process? What message are you seeing when you get held up?

2. What console are you trying to upload your Game Face to? If you're using XBOX 360, can you verify if you have a XBOX LIVE Gold Account or not?

3. What is your Gamertag/PSN ID?

4. What time did the issue occur? If you tried multiple times, can you provide us with a general estimate of when the last time you ran into the issue was?

Hey guys, here's the latest from the developers as it relates to your players likeness once in game:

When downloading your Game Face into FIFA 10 you may notice some visual discrepancy between the web and the console. The underlying base head used, eyes and texture resolution is not the same between the two for many technical reasons and therefore the translation from web to game does not map exactly 1:1. However the faces have been coming through with favorable results and we’ve seen some really great Game Faces made. Please keep in mind that picture quality is of the upmost importance as well as we urge everyone to use a side photo to achieve the most accurate likeness.

Hey Guys,

Here are some helpful tips for those of you who are not happy with your current Game Face:

• Camera should be at least 3 feet away from the face.
• Face should be centered in the photo.
• Hair should be tied back and not obstruct any part of the face.
• Hats, glasses and any other accessories should be removed.
• Ensure head is perfectly straight, eyes are open and mouth is closed and neutral.
• Don't take photos outdoors. Daylight tends to overexpose the images.
• Face must be evenly lit (no dark shadows or bright highlights).
• Using a flash can help achieve good lighting (use a diffuser if flash seems too bright).
• Adding a side photo yields more accurate results.

After generating my face I get no picture. I get a figure with no face (all black) and red eyes.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening.

The pic doesn't really show how it looks on my tv, the colour of the face doesn't really blend with the head.

same goes for mine. It looks realistic on web, but when it turns out in game, it doesnt look the same.

im not gonna provide photos....but my game face is just simply too bright on the body of the player....i tried changing evrything from skin tones to actually editing the pictures to a proper color.....its always the same result too light.

I have the newest version of Game Face, which is 1.1.1 I think and I still get no skin and red eyes.

My computer meets all the requirements.

Can someone tell me what is wrong and what I need to do?

My face in the Game Face Maker is pretty ok, but in-game I look like the Joker from the Dark Knight... the color of the skin is differs from the picture

It might be worth noting as well that I got this result by running it on a PC with 2 nVidia graphics cards, 4gb RAM and a 2.66ghz processor.

Lol my players face is sweet as then when i put it on the console lol it is bright white and makes him look like someone is shining a spotlight in the middle of his face!
