Polamalu is one of the two cover athlete so that's probably why but the Steelers are pretty overrated. Roethlisberger isn't that good, Harrison needs to go down. Steelers almost gave up the lead to the Lions this week. 3-2 isn't great for the Superbowl Champs. They look weak without Polamalu there

The only good Steelers are Wallace and Mendenhall. Steelers have NEVER been a Passing team and it's obvious since they are just 3-2 with the passing leader.

I agree. Thats absurd that they have Big Ben over Mr. Money man Eli. Hes way better.
Question though for you soxnygcsbsnoles
How can you be a Giants fan and a Redsocks fan? Thats almost like liking Boston Redsocks and NY <b>ankeys?
O and GO NOLES!!! too bad are season is over. Hopefully Jimbo will turn that team back to what it was. Get a proper defense in there also.

Ben sucks so hard and you can't tell me otherwise. This has nothing to do with me being a Bengals fan because I absolutely love Polamalu.
Roethlisberger had 17 TD's and 15 INT's last year along with over 3000 yards, 59.9 compeletion % and 14 fumbles, 7 lost...
This year he's started pretty good but still he did * last year and if his team was 4-12, they'd be calling for his head

Two Super Bowls
Highest Winning Percentage of any QB in the last 5 Years (since Ben has been in the league)
Most 4th Qtr comebacks than any QB in the league last 5 years
This year has the highest completion rate of any QB.
Did I mentioned 2 Super Bowls.
Enough said!

Did you hear about that saying that there's no I in Team? These are TEAM accomplishments. I'm not too sure about this but I think 22 turnovers for a QB is quite high for a season

you can say all of that stuff, but its not because of big ben that most of those things happened. He is basically like jake delhome when it comes to passing. He throws the ball when he shouldn't. and if you look at Jakes pass percentage, it is above 60% every game besides the eagles game when it was 41%. Ben has been sacked the most out of any QB with 13, and thats because he holds the ball too long. He trys to create to many plays. He may have had 3000 yards last year, but so did a lot of qb's. He is way too overrated, and the defense, which isn't really there anymore, is what won them the 2 superbowls, not Big Ben.

Then I guess Rex Grossman is a winner since he led his Bears to the Superbowl in 07

harrison had 3 sacks against the lions he is back he either had 3 or 4 i forget and polamalu how do you move someone down in they are great week one with him then when he left got bad that might be more of a reason for a boost because it shows how he carries the defense. roethlesberger you right mebye an 88 but not any lower than that

do not use stats to defend your argument about individual players football is a team sport where every players stats are dependent on his teamates. |

3-2 isnt great for the superbowl champs???
More than half the teams that win a superbowl have a hangover the next year. 3-2 is fine for me

A better way to make the point is this! The numbers nor the eye in the sky don't LIE! The difference in talent from team to team is not as great as Madden rates individual players to ensure their dominance on the game! Most players should be rated very similar with a few exceptions. Coaching and play calling is what makes far more difference. If NFL games were played by Madden ratings theirs no way Broncos beat Pats, DET in the game with PIT, etc....
