Need for Speed Racing Games

IF I HAD WANTED TO PLAY YET ANOTHER VERSION OF "CIRCUIT RACING" I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE LASTEST NASCAR OR GRAN TURISMO 10 OR SOME OTHER BORING ROUND AND ROUND WE GO GAME ......... AND THAT IS ALL NFSS IS ........ A BORING ROUND AND ROUND RACING GAME ........ YOU MADE THE MISTAKE WITH NFS PROSTREET ....YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT YOU AT EA GAMES WOULD HAVE LEARNED YOUR LESSON BUT ......... NOOOOO ........ GET BACK TO THE GAME THAT MADE NFS GREAT .......... YOU KNOW THE TYPE ......... BEING CHASED BY THE POLICE, GANGS THRU THE STREETS OF SOME TOWN ............ QUIT WASTING MY MONEY/TIME WITH THIS KIND OF BORING ...OVERRATED..... PIECE OF GARBAGE ..........................A VERY DISSAPOINTED CONSUMER

I've read a few of your posts and the one thing you don't seem to understand is that this is the Feedback section. These people are giving their feedback. Just like you gave your feedback to EA. There's no need to tell people that they're idiots. Even if their grammar is horrible and they are yelling.

It was very well advertised what Shift was all about. It's not EA's fault that you blew your cash on a game that was not misrepresented. However there is a free to own and free to play game that is coming in the next year and Criterion's NFS offering in the works for next year as well.

First of all. Shift is a big fail ... and EA games know this. They sold this game just because of the name... thats it.
I will try to enumerate a small number of problems and like I said.... I know EA games don't gives a ...... on us... the buyers... because they sold the game... one more year... but I am still doing my job:
1. Try to hire some players... to make a test before you lunch the game on the market.... Speeding traps are crap... you already loose time if you go off the race track... TOTALLY UNREAL.
2. If you go with your car off the track you will still be able to control directions... believe me... in RL I am a driver and I know a car behavior... Please hire a driver and let him play your game before you put it on the market...
3. If you can't do nothing against lag... just please put the collision off option... its ruin our game.... no one is touching no one but you still have impact problems
4. If you make the duel championship... please don't let one lap..... its totaly retarded... if that no skill player have the chance to throw you off the track... due to the lag problems or lack of skill.... even if you are much faster you can't reach him because is just 1 lame lap....
5. Control of the power slide .... is so lame... again please I am asking you to hire some real drivers... to make you understand how is working this slide in RL
6. Drift is not existing... because is a really big FAIL... in carrier mode. Is good that you were aware about this fact before you lunched the game...
7. NOS.... is just ..... I don't know why you have that option for your car because you can't use it.... Another bug to expensive to fix....

If you plan to keep this game for 5 years old ppl only... you are doing good job... If you want to make the NFS what is was in the golden edge (Porsche) ... well you have a lot of work.

okay i shall sum up my views on nfs shift in one snetence,
"its detailed but not well explored" . i myself love cars hell lot, but there's this one thing which i love about nfs in its past series , free roam! (: in you guys can combine your creation of nfs (underground 2 , most wanted and shift) together , it will sure be almost near perfection.

As for my positive comments on the game itself, i love and i must emphasize "LOVE" the graphics and details that has been put to each car and track , but this game won't get me playing it once again after i complete it because all my anticipation of it is lost.

a 7.5 out 10 for this title.

i love free roam in huge maps. ( for example in test drive unlimited)

worst need for speed ever played by me at any platform no need and no speed for this piece of crap there is no chaos no heart no challenge it is just another boring racing game come people you know what need for speed face is its customising for illegal street racing it is what illegal on street we do it here in this game guys there is no soul in the game something like underground 2 most wanted carbon more cop chase more drads not stupid circuit or sprint thing here there are two words for this game suck it

I like circuit racing myself and I can't stand these "drive around and find something to do" type of games most of the time, so I was thrilled when Shift came around. Unfortunately, a game that I can't even trust to store my records isn't something I'll be playing long. If it was bug free and had a bit more depth and options it would be very close to perfect for my taste.
