everytime i play nba live 10 my game freezes up i have 2 copies of the game 2 xbox's and they both freeze up its getting worse everyday is it my xbox's are messed up the games messed up is it EA's servers its driving me nuts anyone else having this issue with the game freezing

Yeah you're definately not the only one, I have the same problem and I have read tons of posts of people who have the same problem, yet the help center seems to refuse that it is a glitch/ game error, and try to say that the error is with your xbox/hard drive. I've returned the game for a new copy hoping it was a disk error of some sorts, but as I'm sure you can guess, it wasn't. They really need to put out an update patch to fix this. Its really rediculous, before the age of the internet, this definately couldn't happen to a game or it would be the end of the sequels. Games used to have to come out perfect and completely ready because there wasn't this bogus put it out now and then update it as people aren't able to use it for various reasons. When I buy a game I expect to be able to play it that day, otherwise if I knew that was the case that it was going to freeze every time I played, I never would have bought it in the first place and would have gone with something else. I really hope they come up with something soon to at least fix it, because so far it has been a complete waste of 60 for nothing more than a headache.

hey just fyi i have an xbox but what seemed to be the problem at least for me was the update installation. i cleared my cache, tried playing the game without the update and it worked fine. then i tried installing the update again and it froze. repeated the process a second time and installed the update again and its worked ever since then. so i would mess around with that. hope it helps

mine always freezes up, every EA game i've owned has done it, i eventually got tired of it and just saved the games to my harddrive and run it from there and its all good.

how do you save a PS3 game to your ps3 hard drive from the disk i never heard that before

For xbox 360 save it to your hard drive. Once you get the update it should not freeze. If it still freezes, delete it from the hard drive and reinstall it. I helped six of my friends and they all say it works fine now.

my copy has been freezing for the whole week It's messed up my record online i don't really care but still i want to play the game and can't if it keeps freezing. I have the ps3 version by the way so ea patch this up.

the animation runs very slooooowwwwwww during a perfect execution of an alley-oop. imho this is EA's way of giving the user to see the beauty of the play on a more catching way.

Mine freezes EVERY SINGLE time after the first qtr. like a few sconds into the 2nd qtr, it just stops and still has sounds but nothing moves. it has happen like 5 times in the last 2 days and it even happen in my rank games i was pi$%

I also am experience this dreaded "game freeze". Every-time, every-game, once I get about 10 minutes into a game. I've tried playing it off of both the disc and the hard-drive, no luck yet. Interesting idea about removing the updates.. but would those be the same ones required for online play?
