I enjoyed playing you. I have to admit that I let your ranking get the better of me the first time. I was annoyed I lost the first one I felt I could have taken it but you have good accurate ground strokes. Just to let you know I usually adopt better net position for volleys but with the whole lob mechanic and not being able to run backwards properly I start to get lost.
I use to play with my made up character (who looks like James Blake) we should play a proper match using our created players. I have to admit whilst playing you I felt like you had to do a bit of compensating for your player (by being really good). Im guessing he is an all rounder? Thats why I stopped playing with my character. The pros seem to have a number of gold abilities coupled with supporting bronze and silvers. I can imagine playing against Nadals is not a good scenario for you?

GGs JG, I enjoyed the games as well.
It's very rare I meet an equal opponent online with little lag, so I woulda played some more, despite ARod.
Yeah, my created player vs. a top 100 Nadal is quite bleak. It's a shame the game is so unbalanced regarding created vs. pro, but oh well, I've complained about that enough in other threads.

With an all rounder I decided they have to have roddick serve and hewitts speed. So I experimented around with the last slot: nadals forehand, or sampras volley But then the backhand return suffered terribly. I was having to manage too many aspects of my game whilst the very top pros only have one weakness which isnt that weak.
Have you ever tried playing Davenport. If you think nadal is bad davenport has ridiculous reach. Not only reach but power behind it even when running backwards. And passing her at the net isnt fun. Her wing span covers half the court. You end up playing the pass or lob game every point really boring.

I love playing people at the net its such a mind game! There is so many different options(lob shot, drop shot, up the line shot, cross court shot) and if you guess wrong the other person gets the point or you end up in bad position! I enjoy it much more than the cross court, cross court, cross court, ooh got you out of position time to go up the line play of baseline.
I seem to be in the minority tho! Maybe that is why I cant get higher in the ranks than the thousands!

With a created player there is always one weakness. Ideal would be four medals: speed, serve and the ground strokes. If there would be no pro players, the 3 medal system would actually be good, forcing you to play around a weakness. But this way, there's no chance, at least against good Nadal players. I haven't played Davenport though, the only other tough pro players I know are ARod and Borg. But they are still a class lower than Nadal.

Davenport is so slow I dont think shes very good player! The reason player like Roddick Nadal and Borg are so tough is because of the speed its like you cant get anything by them!

I prefer all rounders. The type of players who use all dimensions of the court. The game isnt designed well for net play in my opinion. As for your options in passing: down the line is suicidal against any good net player in this game it ends the points full stop. So instead of two cross court baseliners you have one and another guy running up and down the t volleying until someones motion plus unsyncs or you accidently go down the line.
