If they trade for Campoli and Bowman isn't fired on the spot I will burn the United Center down to the ground.

Chicago's obvious needs are 2nd line center, 3rd dman and #1 goalie. Why not go for all of it in 1 move.

Hawks give Kane, Morin, Beach, Crawford, Olsen and 1 first round pick 1 second round pick for either

Vancouver, Kessler, Schneider and Beiksa

or

Boston, Bergeron, Rask and Seidenberg

While I love Kane and all he has done, will never forget watching him skate right towards us in Philly throwing equipment into air and going nuts wondering what happened did he? is the Cup ours? you have to give to get and he is easier to replace then Toews, Sharp or Hossa as he isn't as good of a goalscorer or defensively as them. Morin is in the same boat, looks good but have to give to get and Hawks have quite a few other talented propects, McNeil, Hayes, Shaw, Pirri and Saad. Beach might or might not ever be good but fills center void for other team and Crawford goes back to being what it seems like he was all along, a good back-up, if he was really good would it have taken until he was 27 to get a starting job on a team looking for a #1 under every rock on the planet?

In return Hawks get great 2nd line 2 way center, one of the best goalie prospects on the planet, and a true 3rd D man, both with some grit too. Plus it shakes up the team and sends a message.

In the long run the Hawks lose little on offense by getting back for Kane what they gave up maybe a slight drop off but as stated with some of the prospects you can replace most of it but gain large in the defensive side. They get something they haven't had since Belfour, a true #1 goalie with some time left in his career, since Belfour the Hawks have gone trought, just a name a few, Waite, Lalime, Hackett, Thibault, Anderson, Leighton, Khabibulin, Neimi, Turco, Crawford and Emery. Lastly they get a true #3 d-man who can help relieve the stress on Keith and Seabs and help Hjarm and Leddy.

If you don't want Kane traded, Sharp or Hossa then. But the current situation simply won't work, a top pairing with 4 5th defenseman in front of average goalies won't win anything. They need goalie and defense help and to finally have a #2 center.

Marian Hossa, Bryan Bickell, Michael Frolik, Dylan Olsen, and a 3rd rounder for David Legwand and Ryan Suter.

How about that?

It doesn't address the goalie troubles though.

I'd rather trade Keith. Kane can actually play center. He just has a vag.

I don't want to lose faith in Keith yet. He will come to his senses after the goaltending is stable.

Kane's not physical at all, I don't think he could play center for an entire season. I'm surprised at how well he did, though. Actually won some faceoffs.

And why on earth would Vancouver make that trade? Would it make sense for Chicago? Sure... Vancouver? Not a chance. Takes two teams to make a trade...

I love off base trade proposals.

Keith has been progressively getting worse the past 2 years and is dragging leddy with him. Coming from someone who's played defense for a good 20 years at aaa, juniors, and NCAA level, Keith more times than not makes the complete opposite decision of what he should in that instance. One major thing is he tries to get too involved in the ozone. Sorry dunc, you're no soupie.

Remember in the other thread? I said that Keith needs to focus more on defense. I totally agree there. I think he'll get back into form.

I don't think he will though. Bad habits are the hardest to break

Yes Vancouver wouldn't want a solid back-up for Luongo, one of the best playmakers in the NHL in Kane, a top 10 winger prospect in Morin, a big, strong mean center in Beach, and a possible 1 or 2 Dman in Olsen plus picks, for a 2nd line center 3rd defenseman and back-up goalie.

If you knew hockey you would see the Canucks easily win this trade, it only makes sense for the Hawks because it fills their needs without taking too much in return, it's not like I said the Sendins, Luongo, Edler and Hodgson
