The pokechecks are way too effective. It´s just ridiculous to see players press rb all the time and through that way play defence. Some players are so bad but they become good just because the new tuner set has done the pokechecks more effective and that the puck control is reduced.

Make a patch instead of releasing tuner sets which are just making the game more worse!

As someone who primarily plays goalie and defense... I'm not super impressed. It would be nice if the vast majority of scoring didn't involve cross-creases, wrap arounds and rebounds. It would be even better if the defense would do more than just stand there and watch it happen while the puck goes between their legs. The defense needs to be able to clear the front of the net without drawing constant penalties or bouncing off people.

Many goalies don't even challenge much because doing so opens you up to constant one-timers and rebound goals. 90% of scoring shouldn't be from within 3 feet of the crease IMO. We need a little variety and I think that involves increasing the defense's ability to deal with these scoring methods.

Bring back goal scoring. You guys might think you're reducing glitch use by upping the goalie AI but actually it increases it. When you limit the number of ways people score they get desperate and do nothing but cross crease and toe drags all game. I liked it better when I could count on a well placed wrist shot once every two games. As it stands right now the only goals I'm seeing are breakaways, cross crease, and toe drag. Very few slap shots, rebounds, and even fewer wrist shots.

Right now the way people are beating me is getting Marty in net and shooting toe drags all game, then they get one lucky shot. I usually have double the possession time and double the amount of shots. If this happened once in a while fine, but not when it's happening way to often.

What is it about this tuner update that has the developers so attached? Again you got rid of the enjoyable tuner after a week. Yet this one and the pre-christmas tuner won't die. In fact this tuner is barely better then the pre-christmas settings.

Please I beg of you, on all that is holy make people play defense, bring back goals. Tired of getting screwed in 1-0 games.

Better yet is there a way to play with V1.02 (whichever one we were using for a week before it got replaced because EA was dropping acid while on the job) in custom unranked games? I want to play online again but everytime I come back to it I get screwed because I don't want to shoot toe drags and cross creases all game.

Same crap different day. Lost on a toe drag wrister and had Marty stop most of my shots despite getting quality shots from the slot, dominating possession, and shot attempts. How many times do I have to post to get a response or at least see some action taken? Is it time to bring back goal scoring yet or are we satisfied with nothing but toe drags and cross creases with goals. Slap shots and wrist shots are a waste of time now as are one timers. In fact the only way to score on a slap shot these days is with deflections.

I mean whats next are we going to get another great tuner update and then one a week later that nullifies it? This is starting to get ridiculous. Rename the game "Toe Drag with a side of Marty 2010" and call it a day.

Yeah 19 crappy shots and you know this because you were in the room with me? Anyway yeah shots unimpeded from the top of the slot never work, thats why the pros avoid them. However a few toe drags on 3 minutes of possession and one lucky bounce apparently always warrant a win. Thats what I've learned from my recent experiences on NHL 10. You don't agree with it fine but at least come back with a reason. My complaint here is based on an emerging pattern, not one single game.

By the way, 9 games tonight played in real life. 7 of those games were won by the team with more shots on goal. I wish that ESPN provided time on attack numbers but unfortunately they don't.

Shots constantly wide open from the slot. Had about 3 or 4 shots bounce off the metal including one slapshot that was probably in but was counted as a miss.

It's ironic to because when you try to prevent glitch goals you actually give the glitchers an edge. Thats because the one or two cheap goals they do get means all the world when goalies GAA is easily less then 2.

During the last turner when we had scoring one or two glitch goals weren't much of a problem because we could come back and score legitimate goals. Now we're at the mercy of glitchers. If you don't want to change the speed EA then fine, it seems like thats more realistic anyway. But for Gods sake bump up the shot speed and/or slow down the goalie reaction time.

Anyway please tell me the next roster update will include a scoring friendly tuner.

FINALLY some people that think the tuner sets suck! why ruin a winning formula. sure people glitch goal'd but people dealt with it. I dealt with it!
it's so slow now. do we really want this???
I've been playing the ea series since 98 but now im so very ready to just trade this for the 2k series its pretty sad cause it was so fun. sure it's more realistic now but I just want the tuner set to go away. I don't know maybe I'll just go back to nhl 09. or maybe just shoot from every single * angle or play keep away oh yeah thats FUN!
just such a boring online experience now I hope people play less and less so ea knows that online is a failure now its jsut a leisure game to play not something people looked forward to.

I'm officially done with this game until the new tuner comes out. I'm still trying to figure out how I was good enough to win 18 straight games last month and now I lose almost every game no matter the skill of the opponent.

If anyone from EA is reading this, this is two straight * years where you tried to "fix" the game mid-season and totally ruined it. Do you really not understand that when you try to fix a glitch you go 10x the other way and make the game impossible to play the right way? You listen to complaints and go overboard every single time. * this game.

The latest tuner only fixes so much, then it kills other areas, such as the number of soft goals that go by. I switched back to 1.02. With some slider tweaks, I'm having good games and don't have to worry about a puck inching along the ice and my 90 rated goalie can't cover it.

With EA, they fix one thing, then create 2 more issues on top of that. I don't get it.

I'm scared of getting a roster update without another tuner. Surely the delay for a new roster has to be related to a tuner similar to 1.02 (again whichever tuner got killed off after a week). This one just doesn't cut it.

Hello, i am going to create a season in nhl 10, with a fantasy draft. I had an idea that 31 of you may want a team. So if you want to be in this fun league where you can draft your own dream team, make trades and try to win the stanley cup. Reply with the team you want and i will give it to you. Please list a couple teams as some might be gone. When all 32 teams have a gm which is you. I will have the draft. Since you can't come to my house and draft. I thought if everyone would give me a list of who they want i would try my best to draft them for you. Please number your players of you want the most. To trade say who you want and i will you which team they are on. Then tell me the offer and i will propose this offer to the gm.

Really EA? You spend a week putting together the post trade rosters and don't include a tuner update to fix the mistake that is 1.03? You know what why even bother? Cross crease and toe drags for everyone! Just like real hockey because everyone knows those are the only two goals in hockey. Which is great to because the only way I can score now is playing a 2-1-2 high which leaves me wide open to cross crease passes from my opponents, who ALWAYS play fair mind you.

Way to ruin a good thing guys. Can't wait to not buy NHL 11.

guys i dont think there will be another tuner update. we have complained about it and got nothing. and i dont think there will be a discription of the attributes. looks like we have to take what they give us or stop playing the game like i did. no point in complaining anymore.
