but, the purpose of this topic.... i play them when there are not really too many games out there and i have minimal friends online. i like em. but i noticed something funny today. some guy has a hole in one, tour pro,*.andys 9. 24mph almost tail for 1055 pts x 2. pretty good for one hole right?

so i go bust it. its reposted within a minute. so im thinking thats weird. so i go and look at it. its the exact same shot, so i go and bust it again. then its reposted again. so i go to bust it again and someone beat me to it. and it got deleted by its author. now its posted again. by TWO different people.\rant

i just dont see the fun in that. they appear to be posting the same shot over and over and then busting each other for the points.

been happening with drives for a while. I post one with 100% power, you with 101% me with 102%, you with 105%, etc. etc. Easy 400-500x2 each... That's no different, just a single shot. Last year someone and I kept one-upping each other on a full 18 *. andy's. I posted -35 with one 16 eagles and ace. They posted -36 with 16 eagles and 2 aces. I post -36 with 17 eagles and 2 aces. They post -37 with 16 eagles and 3 aces. I post -37 with 17 eagles, a double eagle and 2 aces. That was fun and challenging since you had to execute the shots on 18 holes, not just a single shot.

yeah, i can see that being fun. but this is a hole in one. so to 'beat' it you only have to hit the hole in one. (on a side note i got it but didnt hit the pin somehow so i just re-shot same% and got it the next time, weird).

so when i beat your HIO, i post it and then you go delete yours and repost. then when you beat mine (same shot) i repost it again so you can beat it again. that way we can score points really fast. almost like me taking a character im going to delete anyway who is a lvl10 and losing matches to you on purpose. so you can get points and you doing the same with a character you dont care about.

i guess the things ppl do almost never surprise me, and in this case i never thought about it, but had to shake my head.
