Hello all,

We are currently trying to narrow down any issues with Snow Leopard. Is anyone unable to play or having major graphical problems using Snow Leopard? We would also like to hear if you are not having issues. I just need to get a good idea what is going on so we can try and get them resolved.

Thanks,

I'm using snow leopard but on an older Imac - 32 Bit. I'm able to play OK but there are some Issues with the full screen mode vs window mode. In full screen you can not adjust the size of the chat window. When playing in window mode the TS swing screen Keeps the mouse courser visible during the swing, This is very distracting. But in the window mode you can adjust the chat window.
These are the only things I've noticed using the Imac with snow leopard.
Just remembered I have had several times I had to remove Unity Player and reinstall.

See my post under Website bugs - Firefox won't respond after round under snow Leopard. I am at work now where I play using iMAC and old leopard. Game wouldn't load so I found and downloaded new version of Unity 2.6 but still had same issue after the round of having to quit Firefox to progress.

Let us know when Unity can support 64 bit Safari.

Just played second round at work with old Leopard and iMac under Firefox. At first the game would not load, stuck again at one character item remaining. I re-installed Unity web player and played the round. After the round Firefox would not respond so quit Firefox and restarted to type this forum post.

This AM, using Mac-mini under Snow Leopard and Firefox with new web player 2.6.0, the loading, playing and exiting were all flawless. Still cannot load under Safari 64-bit.

Now at work using iMac under old Leopard game will not load under Firefox. It hangs at one character item remaining. Also will not load under 32 bit Safari. It hangs at 4 character items remaining.

Overall Game seems to be running well on my MacBook Pro (2006). I see occasional video tearing normally during setup on the teebox.

I had to downgrade firefox back to 3.5.5 from 3.6b1. Could not load anything past the opening page. No games, no appearance, etc. just keep getting the install Unity plugin screen. Now things are working better. I am also experiencing the 64bit safari problem, switching to 32bit works fine.

Everything was fine except for occasional crashes until now, when basically the game is a mess. I can't zoom to the pin, and the camera stays on my golfer after the shot and I have to restart after every shot.

Oh- one other thing- my total earnings, birdie and eagle numbers are the same for every course, so when I passed 100K for the first course, I passed it for all and couldn't actually earn that money. Same with birdie and eagle numbers.

I just played my first round in Firefox 3.5.5 (mac, Snow Leopard) and sure enough, after the round ended, Firefox locked up. However, when I clicked the Window menu and selected Tiger Woods from the drop down list, it unlocked.

Hope that helps.

On a separate note, I am having major trouble resizing the in-game chat window in Firefox. The dragger almost never works.

I am using Snow Leopard on both an iMac and new Powerbook. Safari

is running 64 bit mode and with reinstall of of the Unity player it works

massively well.

I have lots of issues with the new open beta:

Browser:
Safari 4.0.4

OS:
Snow Leopard 10.6.2

Issues:

- General lag on 3-click.
- 3rd click not working at all (4 out of 10 shoots)
- 2nd click not working on some occasions either.
- I can't resize the windows in windowed mode.
- Full screen crash intermittently
- I can't return to window mode from full screen.
- Aiming (shift) doesn't work on full screen mode.
- On one of the crashes I got a message saying that the unity player wasn't installed, I have to restart Safari.

These issues make the game unplayable for me. I might give it another shot the next version but I am quitting for now. I am back to work and racing.

Hi everyone,

I also am experiencing some problems with Snow Leopard/Safari combination:

- The graphics are very jerky in windowed mode (much better in full screen, but full screen is forced on the wrong monitor (I always use two monitors, and want the game on the bigger one)
- The graphics are distorted and blurred/fuzzy on my screen when in full screen mode.
- The game (or rather the server) doesn't save results of suspended rounds. After logout, the round that I had begun playing is gone so that I can't continue/finish the round.
- I would expect the game to support multitasking, but apparently, it does not (it even said so in the automatic graphics help that appeared; the advice was to quit other applications)

The general look and feel is great, though.

Thanks,

Firefox 3.6 with UnityPlayer 2.6.1f3 in full-screen locks up system when starting game. Cmd-opt-esc does nothing, cmd-tab does nothing. Power cycle is the only option. I've not attempted Safari fullscreen (a little gun shy now). Graphics are a bit choppy but I am running in windowed mode. I'll enable ssh and try to kill Firefox that way next time.
