The deal is clear, the rulez are basically set but will be finely honed.
One exception is - Longhitter is excluded in this round since he is on probation. His game is up to it, but his style aint (yet). Or does the majority vote for him to be able to participate ??? !!!!

As far as I remember that idea, they want to play each other best of 5 and the loser will have to delete his persona.
I suppose that Nochindeluxe will record the matches like his many expressing Tutorials, so his server will break down when everyone of us is going to watch them.
It´s a doomed good idea claus54.

the profile remains untouched, we are talking striktly personna. all the skills etc the profile golfer carries stays.

the qualification round is basically done via the leaderboard.
only top 100 players need apply.
number one player of the world (except Longhitter- hes under age) selects the course of doom after the basics are laid down.

BUT - the winner is automatically seeded for the next round !!!!! then you are off scott free.
meaning, you win, you have to at least play one more challenge. if you lose that your personna is gone. if you win, you walk away a free man and you wont have to play (you can if you wish) another challenge.
so, its really sinister - your personna ia basically up TWICE.
think hard guys.

Claus why do you mention "Allplay". You can´t play that online at all. Or do you really mean to play offline? Can´t belive that you mean it that way.

Thanx for the Sign-up thread Claus, I'm interested to see who wants in.

I should point out that Jeffro & glen have spent much time working on an exciting event. You have added a nice twist to they're event but lets keep in mind that this is they're event.

Jeffro & glen will obviously organize the actual event, but its nice to have a sign-up thread so we can all see what interest there will be.

Of course, COUNT ME IN ! ! !

Of course this is not MY event. i am a small part of it as i think i mentioned in the other thread.
i was asked to set up this sign up thread so i did.
the main people here are others, esp NCD who started that challenge thing and it was only my evil and devious mind to dream up the "loser deletes personna" thing.

i did NOT want to take any credit thats not due me, whatsoever and hope i didnt give that impression.

Don't sell yourself short bro... I think the craziest part of this whole challenge thing was your idea to put personas on the line... You took it to the next level, I look forward to seeing how this pans out, and I'm really debating putting my persona on the chopping block (since I will lose ). My only issue is I don't play sim. games anymore, only WiiGA matches, so once I'm gone... It will be for good, not even this will motivate me to attempt to get back to 42nd spot I once sat in (now at 74th). I will flip a coin shortly and get back with my decision...

your profile golfer wont betouched AT all. just the SkinniePost would have to be deleted with all the credits etc gone. after you would delete and its verified (well, we would see SP 0-= level --) you reiinstated the sucker and off you go starting from scratch up the SIM ladder (if you decide so).
and why enter such a game if u know you would lose ? come on, the motto "nobody cant be defeated by nobody" stands. at least inside the top 100. its so much a thing of nerves.
think long and hard, maybe sit out the first round.

The only thing I would say about Claus's thread is that it was Glen challenging NCD. I believe Glen started the thread. I love your idea as did Glen, TheJokker and many others.

I will say that I am definitely in as long as Glen manages the process. I already stated my reasons in the other thread. If Glen is willing to accept the misunderstanding for what it was then all will be well. As I said before he has invested much of his own time in helping many on this forum. He is a class act all the way. As such I think he will make this the greatest game yet if he is given some encouragement to take the helm so we can man the battle stations.

I am not sure if he will want to handle the minutia of the sign up sheets or if he would prefer you take care of that part of the event.

Please chime in if anyone agrees with how I see this.

hi guys,

in order to avoid any misunderstanding.
this is glens and ncd´s thing.

i was asked today by jokker in one of his posts - which has been edited so the request is gone - to establish the sing up thread.
so i did !
in the same posting jokker said i should be entitled to also play in the challenge, if i wanted to. i refused giving the reason that i am not up to anything like that.
that is also gone from the edited post.

i have no idea whats going on here, but i have no intention whatsoever to take any credit for anything. i hopped on the bandwagon and merely, half jokingly, made the proposal to go all the way by putting up ones personna in a challenge.

hopefully there is nobody messing with us/me, trying to post things and pulling them again, thus stirring up a controversy between us.

since i am not that computer literate i cant manage spreadsheets and forums and posts.
most i can do is to open a thread on request, thats it.

hopefully i have clarified any doubts in my integrity.

i actually dont want to participate. im not wasting all the time ive spent to get to this position. i know i have a good chance of winning, but restarting online from scratch is a bummer. if i can SPECTATE then i will be happy to be a part of this.

count me in as well! has anyone actually tried deleting a persona and tried to re-enter the same handle? does it work? anyway this is a great concept and ill defintly join in, i have no fear of losing my persona as long as i can have the same name...
