so i can listen to my favorite music while playing

Dear god I hope there's no EA Trax. In fact I hope EA doesn't put any music in at all. Let us just run an Mp3 player if we want music. After all, the game is only available for PC as it is. (Which I'm happy about, MMO's don't feel right on consoles. Plus I can use an analog controller on my PC now.)
Anyways, I don't care for the choices that the head of EA keeps making. Too many bad choices in my opinion.

Well its better option for EA not to put music. They'll have to license the songs, then maybe edit them for explicit content ...useless. And eventually it turns out that 80% of the people turn them off and use winamp.
Best idea is an integrated MP3 player. You put your favorite tracks in a folder of the game and you enjoy them in-game. You can pop up the player, change next track previous track etc.
I've already made a folder with my favorite racing tracks

Man the Ea Traxs on the last few games Sucked so bad. I mainly liked the ones from underground 1 and 2, and one or two from Mostwanted but the rest sucked. They need to put more songs like the ones from the first two underground games plus I wish they would add some more songs from groups like Disturbed, Three Day's Grace, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Thousand Foot Crunch, plus some GOOD rap music.

I think Im with the general feeling here: in game mp3 player (so that it auto mutes for important parts or any in-game voice comm system) or nothing at all. I dont mind EA Trax too much but in the recent games theres only been a handful of songs that Ive liked so as result it tends to get on my nerves pretty quickly.

I think that would kill some people's bandwidth - on an average connection here in Jersey for example, by the time you've got the game running and voice comms and so on, most people will be struggling like mad.
