I'll await the patch to complete the file.
The file will include:
ALL statistics for stock cars
ALL statistics for tuned cars
(MAYBE) ALL default settings
Preliminary version in OPEN OFFICE DOCUMENT:
http://www.2shared.com/file/9032381/ee41cc68/CARS_-_statistics__ver_03_.html
SUGGESTIONS FOR A PATCH, of course they are silly "errata" but if EA will check again the values, i'll appreciate it
1) Add numerical rating at Accel/Speed/Handling/etc.. bars and dates of cars http://shift.needforspeed.com/blog/39094
2) Here all discrepancies, i've read also all "stitistics" in NFS website (in parenthesis the game's value)
Check if the following values are correct (?????????????)
Audi S4 = 340 horsepower (329)
AUDI R8 4.2 FSI QUATTRO = 414 horsepower
"Audi RS 4" and "Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro" have: same POWER and TORQUE.
"Audi S3" and "Audi TT Coupé 3.2 quattro" have: same WEIGHT.
Ford Escort RS = 227 horsepower (220)
Ford Focus * = 222 horsepower (220)
"Ford Escorth RS Cosworth" and "Ford Focus *" have: same POWER and TORQUE.
Mitsubishi EVO IX = 287 horsepower (310)
Mitsubishi EVO X = 291 horsepower (305)
"Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX MR-edition" and "Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION" have: same TORQUE.
Volkswagen Golf = 200 horsepower (197)
"Volkswagen Golf GTI" and "Volkswagen Scirocco" have: same RATING, same WEIGHT, same POWER and same TORQUE.
BMW M3 E36 = 316 horses compared to the North American’s 240 (282)
Chevrolet Cobalt SS = 205 horsepower (260)
Honda S200 = 237 horsepower (247)
Infiniti G35 = more than 280 horsepower (303)
Lotus Elise = 220 horsepower (189)
Mazda RX-8 = nearly 250 horsepower (239)
RENAULT Megane = 247 horsepower (225)
Toyota Corolla = 112 horsepower (12 , Torque ???????
CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 = 505 horsepower (470)
Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 = 572 hp (631)
PAGANI ZONDA F = 594 ponies (641)
PAGANI ZONDA F = 739 horsepower (750)
"Pagani Zonda F" and "Pagani Zonda R" have: same WEIGHT.
MCLAREN MERCEDES-BENZ 722 EDITION = 640 horsepower (671)
"Porsche Cayman S" and " "Bonus Porsche Cayman S" have: same POWER and TORQUE
3) PROPOSAL FOR NAME CHANGES
"Audi RS 4" should be "Audi RS4"
"Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION" should be "Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION X"
"Nissan Silvia spec.R AERO (S15)" should be "Nissan Silvia SpecR AERO (S15)"
"2007 Lexus LF-A Concept" should be "Lexus LF-A Concept"

Bit of a stickler for details, aren't you?
The only error I saw in the cars you listed was 2000GT-R which is two sets of words and not one. The rest is really dependant on how you as a person want to read them and I've never actually seen an industry wide, none the less a company wide, naming standard that was successfully followed for more than a few months.
As for specifications. Specification values change not only due to ambient temperature and ambient pressure but also due to different regulations among different countries. People don't even get the exact same weights, torque levels, and horsepower among different cars of the same models.
And finally, there is a button you can press that changes the acceleration/speed/handling bars into numbers. And your Open Office file is an .html file which means it can be viewed by any web browser, MS Office, Corel Wordperfect, Open Office, and a variety of other programs.

For suggestions/ ideas / etc.... i'm here
(NOTE: Open Office File, i don't known if Excel can open it)
http://www.2shared.com/file/8907250/dc2c381a/CARS_-_statistics__ver_02_.html
OF COURSE, if moderator will upload the file is better..
FOR A PATCH
1) Add numerical rating at Accel/Speed/etc.. bars
I believe there are more pressing matters then retooling the UI for this, the numerical ratings would be nice.
2) Check if the value are correct
"Audi S3" and "Audi TT Coupé 3.2 quattro" have: same WEIGHT.
"Audi RS 4" and "Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro" have: same POWER and TORQUE.
"BMW M3 E46" and "BMW Z4 M Coupe" have: same POWER.
"Ford Escorth RS Cosworth" and "Ford Focus *" have: same POWER and TORQUE.
"Volkswagen Golf GTI" and "Volkswagen Scirocco" have: same RATING, same WEIGHT, same POWER and same TORQUE.
"Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX MR-edition" and "Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION" have: same TORQUE.
"Pagani Zonda F" and "Pagani Zonda R" have: same WEIGHT.
"Porsche Cayman S" and " "Bonus Porsche Cayman S" have: same POWER and TORQUE
"Coke Zero (R) Dodge Viper SRT10" and "Dodge Viper SRT10" have: same WEIGHT
Again, I'm sure there are more pressing matters but there are indeed several outlandish errors, some of which you missed out on here.
3) Change the Names:
"Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (C10)" should be "Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R (C10)"
"Audi RS 4" should be "Audi RS4"
"Dodge Challenger Concept" should be "Dodge Challenger Concept SRT8"
"Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION" should be "Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION X"
"Nissan Silvia spec.R AERO (S15)" should be "Nissan Silvia SpecR AERO (S15)"
"2007 Lexus LF-A Concept" should be "Lexus LF-A Concept 2007"
"Bonus Porsche Cayman S" should be "Porsche Cayman S Bonus"
"Coke Zero (R) Dodge Viper SRT10" should be "Dodge Viper SRT10 Coke Zero (R)"
Ivano
C10 Skylines were typically listed as 2000GT-R with NO space. The same for the 2000GT and GT-X.
Audi RS models are often listed WITH a space in between the RS and the numerical designation. Visit AUDI.DE to see this for yourself.
Dodge Challenger Concept is not the SRT8, it is the original concept, which shares the same powerplant, but is badged as an R/T, not an SRT8.
Mitsubishi Lance Evolution is sold as Evolution in most countries outside of Japan. Such is true for the North American licensed verison of the car appearing.
Nissan Silvias were actually badged as Spec-S for natural aspirated SR20s, or Spec-R for SR20DETTs. Note the hyphen. The AERO denotes the aerodynamics package that was available as an option for the vehicle. I have no idea where the period (.) comes from as it's listed in game.
In North America, vehicles are listed as Model Year followed by Make, then Model. This includes concepts.
The Porsche Cayman S is a bonus car and not listed incorrectly. Standard english would suggest the car is the Bonus Porsche Cayman S. I see nothing wrong with that.
Primary sponsorships are almost always listed before the vehicle designation unless that sponsorship is a limited edition package (such as the Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition). Coke Zero Dodge Viper would be correct.

The in game stated specs and/or performance bars seem to have little to do with actual in game peformance with any NFS game and Shift is no exception. The rating indicator number, like 4.0, 6.0, 10.0, 14.0, 20.5, is a better indicator, although you'll still see about 3% or more variation in lap times between two cars with identical rated values.

If anyone known a better site to upload files... tell me!
The intention is to have a complete file for people that like statistics!!!!!
2) i don't known if values are correct or not... but imo are "suspect"
3) i don't known if the names are wrong or not. the bonus cars that starts with manufacturer name is only for symmetry.
Asap i'll post a new version with all TIER 1 CARS!
Thanks
Ivano

What would you rather have??
A) Some numbers that are PERFECTLY CORRECT that you look at once when you buy a car, then never again.
B) A game that runs properly and cars that don't bounce off the track.

Both.
If you're going to call yourself a sim or even think in the same boat as a sim, then GET IT RIGHT.

Since when has NFS: SHIFT been advertised as a simulator?

Why don't you read this interview with a SHIFT producer and tell me if you think they're calling it a simulator...

lol You can play games all you want, but if you actually read the interview the producer clearly states what the scope of the game is. Essentially, the point was that NFS is about fun and accessibility, and a simulation does not necessarily equal fun and accessibility. Therefore, SHIFT was NOT intended as a simulation, but rather a game that featured real racing classes and cars, but with a touch of arcade-like driving so that everyone could enjoy it.
Also, the game is indeed authentic. It has REAL cars, and REAL tracks, and REAL features from WTCC racing, etc... So if you want to take it so literal as down to the definition of 1 word, then indeed, the game is authentic. (Notice the word REAL was from your nice definition)
This still has nothing to do with being, or claiming to be a simulation. Good try though.

Oh boy, just what we need. Another thread that trashes the game by that 30% of the world that is genetically predisposed to suck at driving. Great.

OK. The following comes from EA's very own website. Note the bolded.
Need for Speed™ SHIFT is an award-winning authentic racing game that combines the true driver’s experience with real-world physics, pixel-perfect car models, and a wide range of authentic race tracks. Need for Speed SHIFT takes players in a different direction to create a simulation experience that replicates the true feeling of driving high-end performance cars.
