I read these forums daily, but rarely post here. What I read here today and hear thru the grapevine compels me to post my thoughts now.

I am not sure of all the details of what has transpired, but I do know that since I began playing TW09, you have been one of the biggest influences and inspirations on how to play the game for me. I know I am not alone in this admiration of what you and others like NCD, Jokker and others have brought to this game. The knowledge and R & D you have done with this game has benefited so many. It would be a tragedy to see that lost.

I have only had the pleasure of playing you once recently thru a Wiiga game and was truly honored to see you show up in the room to play. There are many of us who truly appreciate all the time you spend analyzing this game and sharing your findings with us. The wisdom you share has helped almost all players of this game to improve their own game and share the things they have learned from following your posts here. These forums will suffer a great loss without your input and wisdom Glen.

I could not agree more. I just wish I knew where to read the information you provide last year when you kicked my behind so badly I could only try to lose by less rather than hope to ever win. I could not figure out how you even had any losses since you would routinely shoot in the low 40's.

I will respect whatever decision you make-but will be saddened if it is to end your genrosity with your time spent helping so many in this forum.

I have no idea what has happened, but the prospect of missing your wisdom, integrity and generosity on this forum is TRULY unthinkable. I cannot see how anyone who reads this forum (or plays the game with you) cannot be in absolute awe of you. YOU ARE A LEGEND!

Sometimes we all make posts on here which are misinterpreted, slightly inadvertently worded or a little too hasty.

PLEASE DON'T LEAVE THE FORUM. It would be like losing a friend. We've only pm'd once or twice and played once(?) but the value of your contribution and your insight has been inspirational to me (and 100's of others as well I expect).

glen it was the thrashings you gave me in 09 that inspired me to put in the practice to get better at this game.without the input you have provided through this forum i would not be the player that i am today.i dont no what transpired and its none of my bussiness i just hope that you will continue to provide the valuable info that has helped so many tw players enjoy this game. it would sadden me to think that we have lost one of the most knowledgeable minds more importantly the most respected member of our community. i sincerely hope that you have a change of heart and continue to impart your vast knowledge upon us.take care.

if you read all this, I would like you to know, that i NEVER intended to go behind your back.
the challenge is YOUR show and nothing changes that.
the only intention i ever had was to contribute not disturb.
do i understand that you are POed ? yes i do !

do i think you should maybe mull it over and come back ? i certainly do and hope so.

as far as my contribution to the challenge is concerned, I will step back and watch.

should any of you decide i can be of any assistance, i will be here.

i am sorry all this happened, but rest assured, i was just excited about that challenge thing.

You've been an amazing mentor to myself and many others and would be sadly missed.

All this sounds a bit soppy really but its true. This place will be a much worse place without your input. I haven't even had a chance to play you yet - something I was holding off until I thought I was good enough. I think the whole challenge idea kind of ran away with itself - I don't think anyone meant any harm. I hope you change your mind.

maybe it´s the depressing cold weather and the grey sky here in Germany, but the whole thing started in good intention seems to go totally wrong and also over to many topics. I personal don´t see anymore use in the idea of Doomsday when as a result of this good player who created a new persona can´t enter the lobby for a game with Level 1 and other players that don´t know their games biography will get * whipped by them.

I just want to remind those of you that haven´t delete their persona and created it insteadly under the same name again that your results in the Daily and Weekly tournaments wont be affected. If you would do so, you would be stil listed in the results and in the Alltimeleaderboard as nothing had happens-And further more, when you play with new created persona that have the same name as before, the points and earnings you achieve get added to the ones you had with your old persona. In return you loose all your exisiting Buddyrequests. Idid so three times and it took me lots af calls to get my 6 Buddys back caus the requests I send haven´t reached them or the accepted them but my Requests is shown as still not accepted so far.

So all of you that do so by losing that Doomsdaygames: Please be so fair and use your old personas names after deleting and play against anyone or only lobbygames using an password as long you reached an respectful Level that shows other your real Power. There are many people out there that aren´t familar with all that what happened here and don´t know the names involved.

I count you, Jeffro and NCD as the top 3 teachers (professors) in this realm. Please continue to share your knowledge with us. Without all of your posts that I pored thru once I found this site I would not have been able to get near as much enjoyment from this game. Thanks for everything you shared in the past and hopefully more to come in the future!

Well, as usual I am a bit late to get online and read these postings, my wife has been to doctors all day and I was with ther. I will not explain what happened because I don't want to further aggravate the situation, if glen chooses to post what happened that is fine with me. I will however say that it came down to glen thinking my posting was giving all the credit to claus regarding the DoomsDay challenge.

I saw the DoomsDay side of things to be taking on a life of its own and was not part of glen's posting where he was challenging NoChin. I did not realize that glen, Jeffro & NCD were working so hard on another exciting event, which also involved the top players in this game. This is why it does really come down to a misunderstanding on my part, as well as glen's understanding of what I said. Within 5 minutes of that posting I read glen's PM to me and saw his anger over the posting I made. So I Pm'd glen and appologized to him, I then went straight back to my posting and deleted the paragraph that aggravated glen, it was deleted within 20 minutes from the time it was originally posted. At that time I noticed that claus had already done what I asked him to do so the damage was already done. Claus was excited as were many of us and there is no way to take anything back at this point. Within 30 minutes or so of my original posting, glenmcd2 was deleted and he sent me a video of the deletion, my software does not support that file type so the video would not run on my PC, obviously I need a plug-in to view the video.

Since all of this happened so quickly, most players never saw what happened. Out of respect to glen I don't want to point anything negative in his direction. As I have mentioned before, glen had some anger for me from a project we discussed several months ago that had nothing to do with golf. So I do understand why glen would have a short fuse with me.

I am truely upset that my actions have taken glen from this forum, even if just for a week or two. So this is also my applogy to all the members of this forum and I hope glen will return to this forum even though he may have personal problems with me. We have all seen what glen brings to this forum from all of his testing and experience, I hope glen will continue to play Tiger Woods golf and post his thoughts in this forum.
