There has been some discussion on the forum about various issues you guys have seen with EA Messenger and Buddy lists. We've tried to reproduce them on our end, but so far everything seems to be working as expected. If you are still experiencing issues, please outline them with as much detail as you can in this thread. Thanks.

One issue I can describe well is when I receive a message from another player online. I get the message at least two times, and at most 4 times. I'll check it, dismiss it, then it will pop back up as a new message. And this will happen multiple times.
Also, none of my buddies every show that they are online, even when I know they are since we've met up in WiiGA chat to start the match. I've also sent several buddies requests to players like glenmcd2 and hoghead, and neither have been able to see my request through to them. They have also sent requests to me, and I haven't seen them come through on my end.

The common issue for me is I will send a buddy request to someone, they will get it and accept it, but it never shows as accepted on my end (but it does on their end). So if I try to initiate a match against that buddy, it won't let me. But that buddy can initiate a match against me.
I've given up on the buddy deal and just create matches in the lobby.
NoChin, I think I even have a buddy request out to you after one of our matches that is several weeks old - you may have accepted it, but it's not showing as such on my end. You may have ignored it, which I wouldn't blame you for either.

the multiple message thing is not mutiple messages. its there so just in case you need to read it again its there.

1.) buddy requests do not go through to the person you are trying to send them to. sometimes they will actually recieve them, accept them, but it still shows the request as pending on your end. this occurs when others have sent me requests and i either dont recieve them or i ok them and they are still pending on the senders end.
2.) upon completion of a game the list shows that there is no players in your list online, including the one you just played a match with. after a minute or so the player may appear online, and a message may be composed and sent, but you often get the "message sent but player offline and may not recieve".if the player you jus had a match with is not in your buddy list, you may send a message immediatly upon completion, but the player is not shown to be online also.
3.)players you know are online are not shown to be online.
4.)after any random period of time upon creating a game in the lobby, a player may join in with you and the mesage "this game no longer exists" appears before you can start the game. this does not occur in locked/password games.
5.)messages sent to you that are read and selected "close" do not dissappear. rather the buddy list appears and upon closing it, the message sent to you is blinking as if its not been read.

nochin #4:
This is because the player leaves the game. if one pkayer leaves then the game ends for everyone else. it doesnt do this for password games
