I've had that happen a couple times in the last few days. Damn it's annoying.

Just like teammates who are shooting in your own net because they didn't get the position they wanted (they could've left and find another game instead). It's hard to defend against 5 people + a couple of teammates you can't check, stick lift, etc.

you shouldn't let the CPU handle the D for your team... they are quite effective in some situations but they are inapt in key situations

I would agree in that I'd prefer friend defenders who know what they're doing, but in OTP I'll take AI d-men over pissy forwards who get stuck on D any day. It's unbearably annoying facing 5 breakaways in a period because johnny dipsh*t didn't get his position and wants to play behind the opposing net all game. Of course, when that happens I just start pulling myself until he quits or plays his position.

When you pull yourself, does the goal count in your save % and GAA? I'm going to start using this tactic to make them quit lol

From what I've seen, the goals do NOT affect your stats if your not on the ice. That trick has been my secret weapon against mouthy idiotic teammates.

Aren't you screwing over the other, good, responsible teammates of yours by pulling yourself to make that jaggoff leave?

First, Can we please ban this r-t@rd above me?

Second, goalie interference needs to be added into 11 or the upcoming patch. I think it would add an entire new dimension to the game. This issue has absolutely nothing to do with IA Dmen which is a complete other topic which I'll debate anytime of the day.

I've only done it a couple times, and one in particular was due to some mouthy * forward stuck as D-man. After telling him to play his position he said something along the lines of "you don't wanna mess with me", at which point I said "mess with you?" and promptly pulled myself for an empty net goal. My teammates were laughing their * off, not cursing. Point being, if the D is not playing D they are going to score on me anyway. Better they score without screwing up MY stats for something that isn't my fault.
