dumbest thing you have seen yet (funniest story)

lets make a thread to tell of all the stupid stuff we have seen online it can be funny strategies or whatever.

for example I played two drowning doom players who did nothing but build brides and fright wigs

seriously they didn't even upgrade there base. they simply built more frightwigs we had upgraded everything and had a full army and all they did was build frightwigs

we beat them like 7 times in a row it was sad

i once got into a game with my friends against a bunch of british gamers. they quit like 3 minutes into the game. searched for another game in matchmaking. found them, they quit in two minutes this time. for twenty games this went on. finally, they started cussing us out because we werent quiting (we were actually trying to play the game) and then they left.

for 20 odd games they just joined and quit, joined and quit, and then we started to to get kinda bored. but still, how dumb can you be

Well, funniest thing I've seen was a fire baron rusher who just kept sending round after round of fire barons at me. I just fried them using the lightning rod (Drowning Doom) and took over all the fan geysers on Battered Bluff. He didn't even try to sneak to my base or take the geysers, he just sent squad after squad after me and I crushed them. Eventually he ran out of fans and when I beat him, I got a rather nasty message I would rather not repeat lol.

Probably the dumbest thing i have ever seen is this one kid i was playing against, he built an entire army, never looked at what i was building, and i had already created a full force of fire barons and headsplitters. So he started to slowly move toward my base, and i just rushed around his forces to his. Then he was AT my base, and the instant i started attacking his base his force slowly started to move back to his base to defend.

Dumbest. move. ever.
He probably could have killed my base, but he decided to go help his stage. Needless to say i crushed him without losing a single fire baron.

Lmao funniest thing ever was similar for me. I saw this DD player massing wigs at his base this was all he did. I took the 3 geysers on battered bluff uncontestedly I dont think he ever even left his base till he max pop on wigs. I was jut watching him IDK if he was thinking he would possess 1/2 my army if I built splitters and a rock crusher so I just max pop on upgraded razor girls because for him to be possessing on a 4-1 ratio wouldnt be effective.

He marched his whole army of wigs right to my stage where 40/40 Razor girls were waiting I dont think the wigs lasted more than 20 seconds lol then he quit. *DUMB*

Mine happened last night actually.
I was IH against a TC player on Blood Gulch I think (can't remember the name of the map, but the single Fan Geyser one.)
I cued up 2 RG and an HB then Rally flagged them to the Geyser. He sent in 2 Nuns each with 2 Soul Kissers. A melee battle ensued at the geyser and I lost. Usually economic superiority on a map like this one means a win so I decided a good defense is my best offense. I built 1 FB unit and set it to defend just outside my base.
He wasn't building any visible threat so I upgraded my stage to 3 asap. While that happened he sent 2 PP at my FB's which I made short work of with my Avatar. I was down to 1 FB bike so I popped 1 more, and set it to defend again.
Then he sent his "Solo Hogs" (can't remember the name right now) alone to attack my Fan Geyser right next to my FB defense. I made short work of that small assault, while Upgrading to 4. He left me alone long enough to gain enough fans to cue up my RC.
While my RC was in cue he sent his original force of 2 Nuns with SK's to attack my FB defense. I had long enough to pop my RC and Bladehenge assault his SK attack. He flew away to his base and I went to scout. finding 6 Skull Rakers alone standing around the corner form my RC I dropped a Bladehenge assault on them.
From this point on I just kinda waited for fans and built a stage assault force 2 Roadies, Headsplitter, Metal beast, Another FB set. While that was happening he used his Avatar to assault my RC with Electricity, all the way across the map. I ordered my forces to his stage, started my assault and he quit out then sent me an offensive message, about being a coward.
I found this funny due to the fact that he had total map superiority from the start then lost due to unplanned strategy. I could have beat me at least a 1/2 a dozen times in that 10.5 minute battle, it just would have taken the right army to assault at the right time.

Also the fact that he put no pressure or presence on the map, letting me feel safe enough to Tech up instead of build units to defend against an absent intimidation force placed in the middle of the map. Building his main army there instead of sitting back and planning small assaults on my stage would have drastically changed my strategy, I would have put more of my few fans into units and not upgrades, buying him time to build up his armies. (Yes multiple, if you have economical superiority you should always try to have a second wave rallied to somewhere on the map just in case.) With that simple presence on the map he could have won without ever having attacked my units with small wasted forces.

And after beating him twice in one night (earlier I beat him on the feeding ground) and seeing that he quit out both times right before he lost, makes his record of 80ish-40ish (along with the personal attack message that I will not repeat here. The message was very eloquently put and rhymed too, notwithstanding the personal attack.) His record suddenly seemed much less impressive, and totally inaccurate.

One of the funniest losses I ever took was on Bladwoode. I sent my armies out to attack the fan geysers and melee with his units.
He dropped a bleeding death at my stage, I didn't think 1 Bleeding Death could kill my stage alone so I didn't bother to rally my units to defend my stage, I didn't even put out a Call of the Wild. I was dumb enough to think that I could defend and heal with my stage and Avatar. LOL.

And it's always funny when both players are DT something with an army and they slip past each other undetected on either side of a map like Pleasure Gardens, or Bladewoode. This usually happens due to poor/good scouting, and ends in simultaneous stage assaults. It's always a nail biter when everything stops and you wait to see whether you get Victory or Defeat.
