Is being 44-4 in the last 4 seasons enough?..

GUESS NOT!!...not 1 team from a respectable Conference will play these HillBillys..i guess it shows u how corrupt the College Football standings really are...this is the reason i ONLY watch NFL Football..

Boise State is being penalized for the conference they're in. It's not even their fault and they can only play the teams on their schedule! The BCS has always been BS but for some reason a lot of people (not fans) are in favor of this mess. A playoff system was proposed but rejected by a lot of people. At least in the NFL, everything is settled on the field! Even if you had a cupcake schedule and were in a weak division, that doesn't disqualify you from competing against the best and seeing where you really stand.

Exactly!!! Why won't people play againt Boise State??? I have a feeling that a lot of teams are scared, BOise STate may play in a bad conference, but they beat the one good nonconference team they beat, and they had their way with them, I would love to see PItt or Penn State play them in 2011, but it probably won't happen

Funny though, now that divison is getting harder and harder with the 49's taking over, and of coruse the Seahawks will be back next year probably strong.

If Boise State can't find anyone to play them, then they're just not trying hard enough. You really expect me to believe that teams will play other teams like USC and Texas, but not Boise State?

Some of the top teams might not want to play Boise State and risk jepordising their BCS chances, but I'm sure there are plenty of other good teams out there that would like the chance to play Boise and get that kind of exposure for their school, and a win against Boise would definately help them rise in the standings.

Boise is my favorite team and it bites them not gettin a chance IMO , but I hate the BCS and keep hoping for some kind of playoff

Nobody will play them because everyone saw how they EMBARRASSED Oklahoma a couple years ago in that bowl game.

It's sad because I live near Boise so on all the College Football radio shows you always here about how Boise State is just tearing it up and how they hold all these records currently and such, but they NEVER get a shot at a big time team.

but thats the whole point Stonecold...Boise wants to play the "top" teams so they can get into a BCS bowl. Playing the small schools is what Boise does every year.

And SFU, embarassed Oklahoma?? NO...that was a great game!

Just because they can't find a top five team to play them doesn't mean they can't still find a good, solid ranked team or a team just outside the top 25 to play against them. TCU is a good non-BCS team, but they can still find quality teams to play them.

The article says otherwise...although I dont know how much I believe it.

And TCU is in the MWC...a MUCH MUCH MUCH better conference lol. Some even think the Big East's BCS automatic bid should be given to the MWC...

You nailed it right there. Its not really a slap in Boise's face as much as it is the conference they play in. If they found a way for example to transfer into a better BCS conference say, PAC-10 or BIG-10 (whatever) they would find it MUCH easier to find better opposition. As is, it looks WORSE for one of these bigger programs to lose to Boise even though Boise has been great these last few years, then it does to lose to say, USC. They won't fall as far in the poles if they lose to SC than if they were to lose to Boise.

Bigger risk, smaller reward, thats the problem for alot of these good smaller programs right now.

Boise I bet is just picking teams from the top 15 or so... its a llie if you say nobody is accepting the offer... i'm sure Nebraska would take the offer...

Yeah, it was a great game. The best college football game I've seen in a long time.

I say embarrassed because Oklahoma was a very mainstream school and everyone expected them to win, and when Boise won it was just an embarrassment for such a mainstream, top 15 school to lose to an unknown team that no one in the regular mainstream market of teams will play.

Would be nice to see Boise getting more love, but hey, as long as those guys are going into the NFL, I have no worries about it.
