That would be great - I just started this week too; my 1st session was on Monday - was a little sore in the glutes/quas; 2nd session was last night - boy, was I really challenged today; took a night off today, but went on a 45 min walk, its better when active - when you sit around, you become much more sore - lol! I also have much to lose - 30# would be nice, more is better. I'm on the west coast - where are you located? Love this game - much better than Wii Fit, plan on getting "More Workouts" next week ..... take care and enjoy your sessions!

Congrats to all on starting out. With the motivation on this forum you will make it for sure!! It is amazing how sore my legs are when I started out in June, it's also amazing in how fast your body adapts and the sore goes away and muscle definition replaces it!
So we have lilmac79 finishing the 2nd workout on Tuesday...a rest day today? If the rest days are not convenient to your schedule you can workout on the scheduled rest day and the game will move your rest day out to tomorrow.
Peechuz has two workouts in the books! Way to go!! You are correct that a little walking and activity will help with the soreness. Advil works good, too.
char_cfc is starting over today!! You will make it for sure this time around with us for encouragement. I'm looking forward to your report on how the first workout went.
For me I just finished a 2 week challenge I set up for myself using the goals and preset workouts. I used a combination of the 30 day challenge workouts on hard. i'm trying to decide on starting a new 30 day challenge or waiting on the More Workouts disk and filling in with preset and custom workouts.
Looking forward to hearing from all of you! Any others ready to join in????

Well my first session went well. I've started on the medium intensity, i'm not sure if i'll stay on medium the whole way through as my muscles are feeling the burn today. I might just alternate if my muscles are too sore and take it down to easy give them time to heal.
I used my crosstrainer to do the walk/run exercises which worked really well, as running on the spot creates to much banging as my wii is upstairs
I wanted to know if any of you are healthy eating aswell? I'm currently following the Paul Mckenna i can make you thin theory (No to Dieting ) I have had previous success with just this alone losing 10lbs but I need to start toning my bingo wings and thunder thighs now looking forward to the new EA active for the ab workouts.
Keep it up guys, looking forward to hearing how your all getting on

hello!!! i will be on my 4th workout today..
yesterday i did workout#3 on medium intensity and added about 15min more with custom workouts.
I know they say that 30-45min is usually just to maintain and I really need more calorie burn.. not doing full hour yet.. will work up to it with the 30 day challenge, combined with 30min of custom.. but I don't want to throw myself in too hardcore so I'll want to quit.
my calves are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tight today.. I guess I should stretch myself after each workout.
I have been trying to eat clean (look up tosca renos book) and track my cals on sparkpeople.com
I have been doing this since Mon and have lost 3lbs so far.
I think I will work through rest days just in case something comes up.. it will prob be Saturday.. but maybe Sun.

Terra, welcome to the group! You might want to do a little stretching and walking for those sore legs on your rest day. It will help them feel better.
char_cfc, congrats on your first workout! I use my treadmill for the walk/run and it works well, too. It is easy to move the intensity up or down depending on how you feel. You will be amazed at how fast your body will adapt to the increased load. This workout will definately get you toned, I really notice it in my triceps. I am not dieting but I am eating more healthy, I think that just comes as we make fitness a priority and are thinking about what we put in our bodies. My main thing is to stay away from sweets (terrible sweet tooth) and alchohol (another weakness of mine). I don't eliminate anything but cut way down. I find if I try to eliminate anything I will eventually binge on what I have been deprived of.
lilmac79, it sounds like you're doing great!! Don't deprive yourself from rest days if your body needs it. Just listen to your body!! One complaint that I have with EA Active is that they don't do a good warmup/cool down or any stretching. They say the More Workouts takes care of the warmup but find a good stretching program and follow it after your workout. It will keep you injury free. Congrats on the 3lb loss!! Don't be surprized if you gain a few pound along the way as you add muscle. I try to pay attention to how my clothes fit and not be too tied to the scale. Last week I gained a pound but tightened my belt!! I'm down 20 lbs so far
GREAT GOING GROUP!!!
Keep up the good work!!

I did 3 30 day challenges on EA Sports Active Personal Trainer and I lost over 15 pounds. I am starting my 6 week challenge on More Workouts tomorrow and I am one of the featured challengers. Who else is doing the 6 week challenge?

Hi, My name is Jackie, and i'm looking to lost alot of weight around 50kg maybe.
I started last friday (27/11/09), worked out friday, saturday and monday and today,
the only problem i have is that my thighs are pretty big and the band doesn't go up high enough on my thigh, for some exercises i have to hold the nunchuck against my upper thigh so its high enough to register say for squats or lunges very annoying. any tips?
