Just an average player, having fun with GST online. I have a number of questions and would appreciate some hints:

1. I have several gold abilities. Which combination of three gold abilities would give the best results against which type of player, particularly the pros?

2. I am finally learning how to time a smash against a lob (very many of those spam lobbers so gotta develop a defense). However, I came across an online player from germany (rank in the 3000s) who has an ultrafast lob - it's like a monster topspin except the ball loops up like a lob and lands in your court in about a quarter of a second. He did it several times, it seems at will. How is that done?? I know many things in GST are very far from the real game, but since this unrealistic ability exists (I've never seen it before), how does one acquire such a stroke, or better still, how does one anticipate/defend against it? Or is this simply an EA server problem or connection problem?

3. I just switched to a faster connection (20 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload) and noticed that I now experience dropped connections from the EA server occurring on my side, and about once every session. Anyone else have this situation?
