I know there have been times where I have taken a penalty and not gotten negative feedback on it in OTP games, but for the most part I do get negative feedback. So my question is thiso you only get negative feedback when it is a blatant penalty? There's times Roger Clement says "I don't know... I'd like to see that again.", basically disagreeing with the call. So am I crazy or do they have anything to do with each other?

The commentators are terrible with penalties. Every tripping call could be a dive or is questionable. Every slashing call is blatant. Every interference call is questionable barring a rare few. Every hit from behind (even though they are sometimes from the side or the player turned into it) has no place in the game and warrants a misconduct. It gets rather annoying when they say "i don't know if he just stepped on his stick and fell down" or "there might have been a dive involved there but only one of them is going to go;" there is no diving penalty.

It's mostly random, unless you just unload a check on a guy who isn't even near the puck, then of course it's a blatant penalty. Otherwise he just says whatever the hell he feels like.

and why do they say "<insert team name here> will get another chance as they go on the PK" How is the PK a chance???? Last I checked, PK's werent good

Because your goalie gets even worse when you're on pp lol.

On a side note I would love to see the diving penalty added to the game. Have an "embellishment" rating for each player by how often they have been called for diving in real life. I know you don't see very many in real games, but it would be cool to see once in a while.
