I always thought it would be amazing, especially with the whole new "group" thing going on.
If youre skating a spot (any spot) for awhile, groups of people (civilians and skaters) started to gather around the spot.
Like if its a stair set, people started to to skate it with you and people would start to sit on benches around you and cheer you on.
skate 2 had that feature, but to a lesser extent.
I want people to flock over to the spot.
I always thought that would just be the coolest.

Its a good idea in principle but it would be annoying after 30 seconds. The AI is so bad that people would probably be walking up and down the * set youre sessioning. Skaters hitting the rail at the same time as you. It would be a disaster really

Oh ya, No doubt.
But I'm sure with minor ai tweaks to the people walking around, that wouldnt be a problem.
Maybe just have them sit and cheer, not constantly walking around.
You have a point with the skaters though, but who doesnt have that problem in a session in real life.

this was sort of in og. noticed it most often doing the pro s.k.a.t.e. challenges when you or your opponent landed a trick some of the peds would raise there hands up, some may have clapped. not entirely sure since i haven't played og in a minute. with s2 i never noticed if it happened but most of the time it seems the peds are more annoyed by you skating than anything else.

yeah they did that in skate 1. if you were like skating one spot for a while or playing s.k.a.t.e. people would start watching you. but it wasn't a lot of people, maybe only around 4 or 5.

on the subject of realism, i think that skate 3 is doing just fine especialy when it comes to the way you actually play the game. the only thing that i thought the franchise lacked was the ability to creat your own skate parks and now you can do that. this should be the best skate yet.

a month late?
and its hard to say how much more/less of the realism they will incorporate when we haven't really seen any in-game footage that wasn't perhaps pre-rendered for a trailer.
however, i do agree that it will be the best Skate yet because of the park editor, unlimited re-playability in my eye's.
first post? welcome to the forums.

1. The more AI you have in view, the less FPS you're going to have and the game is going to run generally slower.
2. How can the AI distinguish if you're just hitting a set or doing a line after hitting said set?
It would be a very time consuming and complicated development to add to the game. I would much rather the effort go towards something else in the game, more along the lines of game play or Replay.Editor/Graphics.Editor development. Do you really want crowds of people in all of your footage?
Sounds like a good idea for some career challenges, just to add to the atmosphere and where the memory can be controlled. In just regular play, it would become quite annoying.
