Hey Everyone - EA SPORTS Active More Workouts hits shelves next Tuesday, Nov. 17th. We will be kicking off the Active for Life 6 Week Challenge on Nov. 20th. The 6 Week challenge is similar to the 30 day challenge in Personal Trainer, but it's just that - 6 weeks! You will also be able to select the days on which you want to workout.
This is going to provide you with a great way to keep active during the busy holiday season. I can't tell you how excited I am to get started. It's going to be great!
So if you can get your hands on More Workouts next week, great! Let's all start the challenge together. It will help us all to stay motivated.

I'll hit Costco on Tuesday. It sounds great! Maybe I can use the first couple of days to go thru the videos of the new exercises to learn them.

Just got my shipping notice from Amazon! After 4 30-day challenges, I am ready for something new! This is going to be a perfect workout to get me through the winter

Just got my copy at Toys R Us today. They have a buy 2 Wii games (each 39.99+) get $20 off. It would be a great deal if you knew someone that also wanted more workouts then you would each would only pay $29.99 for it.

I can't wait to get started with the 6 week challenge and to try out the new workouts.

Today is tuesday so I'm on vacation just relaxing my day away when I check my mail today, and low and behold the ea active sports arrives today. It was to my suprise I wasn't expecting it today to which I was looking forward to when it arrives for the new challenges. So I decide to start today on my six week challange aside from my other exercises. wow I really had fun with the first day already look forward to see what more fun and challenges await me. So I'm Joining the rest of you for the 6 week challenge as of today. I wish everyone the best of luck, may you reach you goal as I know I will.

A bunch of us are going to start the 6 week challenge on the 20th to give everyone a chance to get their copy. You will be ahead of the game and we can get previews from you!! I got mine yesterday and am playing around with the preset workouts and learning some of the exercises until I start the 6 week challenge on Friday!!


Let's all use this thread to report on our progress during the 6 week challenge. There will be a lot of us starting on this Friday, 11/20, but whenever you start report your progress and challenges here. We can help support each other and get through this challenge during the holiday season together!!!! THIS IS THE PLACE!!

I'm hoping my copy will be on the doorstep when I get home later. This challenge is really perfect timing to keep me motivated during the biggest calorie-munching month of the year

BTW- how accurate is the calorie counter when it increments? How do they arrive at their calculations?

for me the calorie counter has never been too accurate. I have a heart rate monitor watch .You input your weight age etc and it usually says I burn twice as many calories as the active shows. But it can see my heart rate where as the game cant.
