Imo, I enjoy reading this sentence
Chris Parry: You create your graphic with our graphics creator, it’s a web-based thing, that’s going to be improved. It’s way better this time.

Speaking of Dlc's how about no Dlc's.
If you dont already know.
TVGB: In the first two games, the video maker really took off with people uploading their own videos. Any plans to expand that functionality for Skate 3?
Chris Parry: There will be enhancements. We had the filmer pack as DLC for Skate 2, because it just wasn’t ready at the time we shipped, which put in the hands of the users the tools that we use when we produce our marketing videos. Skate 3 will come out with that. This time it’s not DLC, it’s part of the game because we want everybody to experiment. If you just want a quick replay, it’s there. If you want to make art, it’s there. And there will be the ability to upgrade, because the people that are into it are really into it. Probably once every week, videos get released that leave us sitting there scratching our heads asking, “How the hell did they do that?” They inspire us and drive us forward.
The cool thing about it is it’s integral to the culture of skateboarding. Skateboarding is all about footage. Right from day one we always wanted to have a replay editor in it, and a lot of people said it was a bad idea because our game shows all the bumps and warts and everything. It shows it. But we just said whatever, we think they’re having fun. No one’s really complaining. Every once in a while something weird happens, and someone captures a replay of it, so it’s a nightmare for some of the artists. But for the most part, people don’t care, they’re just having fun

I hate the fact of any DLC in this next gen era. It just holds back from the initial product and the buyer. The game is already $60. Things like the Maloof Money Cup and the Fantasy Factory are perfect examples of good DLC. The advanced camera, bad example.

the worst dlc on 2 was the skip career one, bring back a good old code.
now it would really be cool if there was the same difference between old cam/free cam and old graphic editor vs new,as Cuz suggest here.

I read this......
The real smart guys on our team are staying abreast of everything. We’re not just sitting on FlickIt forever. Ten years ago, everybody had one control scheme, and then we came up with a new one. Two years, five years, ten years from now, somebody might be saying, “FlickIt? That’s ancient!” As long as we keep producing quality controls that feel good until we think of, or somebody else thinks of something better, we’re happy with what we have.
But I LIKE flickit! Why would they not stick with it?

TVGB: How far do you see this series going? How long until you run out of new ideas? Chris Parry: For the first Skate, we started with enough material for more than one game. Because a lot of us didn’t come from a game making background, what we put on paper, we were told, “You’ve got about five games here.” So there’s still lot’s to do. We’re not even close.
Can't wait. EDIT: Good find Br3t3sh!

yeah i wont buy dlc if its a skip the career, i mean that just doesnt make sense to me. but if its new areas that i like, than definitely.
one idea i just had is having real life spots packs, like every now and then, they could release dlc packs of three or more small areas that are replicas of real life famous spots or are based off of real life spots. like you could have a "school pack" that includes carlsbad high, sylmar high, temple school etc. or a "east coast pack" that has the new york pyramid ledges, brooklyn banks, love park, philadelphia court house.
that would be so tight imo and i really believe it would sell well with the skaters who play the game. also ive said this before but gear packs would be cool, like every season (which is usually when skate companies release new product) they could release packs that include shirts, hoodies, sweaters, hats, shoes, trucks, wheels, boards etc.
it could include gear from random companies, but id rather have specific company packs, like an emerica pack that has clothes and shoes with mostly shoes, or a rvca pack that is all clothes, or a baker pack that has clothes and boards and wheels, mostly boards etc. that would be cool imo.
or another option could be "pro packs", which has gear from a certain in-game pro's sponsors, like if it was a braydon szafranski pack, it would have emerica clothes and shoes, comune clothes, baker clothes and boards, hubba wheels and clothes etc.
i just dont want dlc like classic spots, or fantasy factory stuff, no skateparks or anything.

Funny, I don't even read your posts now because I KNOW I'm always going to disagree with them.
