The Saboteur PC Minimum Specifications

If you're looking to make sure your PC is up to snuff to handle all the bells and whistles of The Saboteur you will want to make sure your PC is in line with the following specs.

REQUIRED SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:

OS: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7
CPU: Core 2 Dual Core 2.4GHz or AMD equivalent
RAM: 2GB or more
DISC DRIVE: Dual Layer 1x or faster DVD Drive
Hard Drive: At least 7GB of free space
Video: Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX with 256MB of VRAM or ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB of VRAM
Sound: Direct X 9.0c compatible sound card

Suggested Configuration:

OS: Windows XP - SP3 or Windows Vista - SP1
Processor: Quad Core running at 2.8 GHz or equivalent
Memory : 2 GB RAM (Windows XP) or 3 GB RAM (Windows Vista/7)
GPU: nVidia 8800 GT graphics card
VRAM: 512 MB

can i run the game with 8600 GT 512 MB ???

Of course.... The minimum is a 7800... your card is a generation ahead of the min spec card.

Uh can i play this on a:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 2.1 GHz 3.50 GB of RAM Geforce 9500 GT?

I would go to "Can You Run It" but they don't have it on the list yet.

You should be fine - Dual core with a 9500 GT will run the game. Maybe not at 1920x1080 but it will run.

I am not sure if your single core CPU can handle the game.

Have you not heard??? by your words the game will only run on 1 core!

My game runs fine on 2 cores...

That's not completely true, setting the game to run on a single core to fix a specific problem is not saying it will only run on one core. If you've actually tried using that fix, even on a high end system, it runs like total crap. You really need the other core(s) to keep the system from bottlenecking.

in my country its hard to find X2 Athlon because no one makes it on SOCKET 939 these days so yeah I have to be with this crappy processor.

Ok, ok I am not gonna brag but... how is it that i have NO problems with Pandemic games? I am pretty sure that it is no coincidence...

BUT! I have noticed that the game itself, almost every game, they don't need a TOO strong computer, not a big monster. But nearly on the minimum specs and it will run fine. Hell, it will even run better after you play it a little.
