I'm really tired of all those bad french translation in this game, I have 2 exemples in mind:

In the ''pre-game'' stuff when they are saying who are injured and who are healty scratch in french you have ''blessé'' this is right but you have ''égratignure'' this mean a scratch not, an healty player who is out of the lineup.

In the GM Task you have this one ''Draft one franchise player'' in french you have ''Draftez un joueur non libre'' if you translate that you are having ''Draft a non-available player''.

EA just do a good translation, I know you have office in Montreal, make them do the translation the right way.

I can do it for free if it's necessary for NHL 11, because the translation is de la merde.

But, it's true. I don't have my xbox set in french, but I do have friends that set it in french and all I can say is that I don't recognize anything that is close to the french hockey language. The worst I've seen is "Goalie Neck Protector" translated into "Protecteur de nez" which is "Nose Protector" in english. WAY TO GO VALERIE

they can't even spell OFFICIAL right, and you guys want them to nail down translations?

Oh oh, and not to forget: a "Forward Player" is translated into "Joueur de champ" which is a "Field player"

Okay so you are telling us if your favorite game was originally made in french and you wasn't be able to understand everything because of a bad translation you wouln't care? You're the one who should get a life.

If you don't know it the all-time glorious NHL team is in a french market, 24 Stanley any other NHL team have more, there is also any other team who have more Hall of Famer.

What you are saying it's like if the people in New York wasn't able to understand the french to english translation for a baseball video game.

What about a dangler? 'manieur de pallet' (ie puck hog)

playmaker? 'meneur' (leader)

and I could add some more if my friend was on his xbox at the moment because mine is set in english (mostly because of the bad translations)

I've got a suggestion, learn English. No I'm just playing. I could see where that would be very annoying. I wouldn't mind playing a game in French just to hear it even though I only know a few phrases.

They should just replace 'pallet' with the real word already...

And, I know it has been ask before, but I'd like to hear (one day!) french commentators! It would be nice to have Pierre or Martin describing the game! But... oh well, I don't think they are going to do it!

I'm surprised by the bad translation. I'm sorry to hear that for the french gamers and hope it gets fixed.

The german translation sucks too.

Big joke man... big joke.. So you don't think they have to support other countrys except the USA? Did you know that NHL has a big fan cummunity in germany and it got big sales figures!? Sorry but you failed as a director of sales.

If it got big sales figures in Germany, I'd say I just did a pretty good job at director of sales.

Maybe you just have to lern that the USA isn't the centre of the earth!? Don't get me wrong. I love the USA, but Germany or France also deserves good games and support.

Did you know that, for example "Far Cry", is a german product!? How would you feel, when I gone talking about the other version except the german one like you do!? Think about it.
