The goal review system is something I think EA really nailed in NHL 11. It's been a month and a half since the game came out, and I'd say that I've witnessed a goal review about 20 times. Every single one these goal reviews has yielded the correct decision. I always expect the decision to be wrong, but it is ALWAYS right.
Is there anyone that's gotten the wrong conclusion in a goal review?
Also, what do you think about the goal review system?

The highstick reviews aren't a problem to call. However the distinct kicking motion ones are. You can only really kick without a stick. So sometimes bounces of legs, skates, gloves (judgement calls, not height of stick measuring calls) really get waived of for no apparent reason. Also sometimes pucks cross the line and don't count as a goal and there's not even a review.
So if by well done EA you mean being able to measure stickheights in reference to the crossbar you are correct.

I think we'll probably see puck-over-the-line reviews next year. *crosses fingers*

You can kick it to your stick if your standing at the goal line and your guy will kick it in. You can also knock the puck to your stick with your hand. I've seen the kick it to your stick once from the AI in a game.

i saw a goal that i thought was should not have been called off once. I scored by draging the puck 5 hole but my guy kept sliding and as the puck was crossing the line my skate touched it and they called it a no goal. i can see in the programing why it was wrong but i feel it was a goal. btw it lost us the game
Otherwise preaty solid

Highstick - Overturned
Kicking - Goal

It's pretty cool to see this in action

I agree.
This was one feature that really made me nervous when I heard about it but all-in-all it exceeds my expectations by a fair amount

I've had about 20, and only had one wrong call.
The funny thing is, the wrong call may have been intentionally wrong by the game. The announcers were actually arguing with the decision it was funny.

I had 4 reviews.
Kicking-Goal
Kicking-Goal
Kicking-Goal
Kicking-No Goal
The one that was No goal was stupid even the announcers agreed with me, I got pushed into the puck.

I only had about 3 goal reviews, all being correct. It's a nice addition.

agree - it is nearly perfect
had about 25 in about 400 games - all correct decisions
only thing to fix!!!:
programm it that nobody is able to push start during the animations
i had it in otp that sum "cool" people pushed start right after the animation are started
...it goes back to the faceoff then directly...
no matter if its overturned or goal..
pretty annoying.

I've only had 1 call that was wrong ... Puck went in the net COMPLETELY OVER THE LINE, goaltender fished it out with his stick, and then it was kicked in. No goal because it was kicked in, even though it was already in.
