I mean i played this game and its not better than live 10 as far as on-court situations, possessions, and executions of plays. Even game flow and play style is better on Live10. Theres a sense of on-court drama in Live10 thats missing in 2k10. the only thing i'll give 2k10 is league pass during season/dynasty play and crowd figures have a little more realistic look overall. But Live10's crowd recognizes game play a lot better. I just don't get the 2k thing. Its not better to me. Just different.

There are many posts here that describe whats in bold as PGs with the ability to continuously hit 3 pointer after 3 pointer from the corner every time down. If that makes game play better than another platform, well then why should we ever look elsewhere....yeah right.

Live to me just feels more organic. 2K's engine seriously has not changed in 5 years. It's a good engine, but an aging one that needs to be rebuilt from the ground up for 2K11. Live already has a good engine, with some good game tweaks, it could be magnificent next year.

That's BS. I play this game everyday using a different team each time and I have yet to see anyone hit 3's like you and these others are claiming. I just played a game last night with Atlanta vs Denver. The Nuggets were the AI and I was Atlanta. There were only 6 threes made the entire game by both teams combined. In fact the percentages were just fine. I suspect the Nimrod who claims this is probably adjusting the game to be overly easy and/or playing on the easiest setting. Play on a harder level and that certainly wont happen.

C'mon Gisher...like you, every year I have said the same thing regarding an EAsports game dating back to 2002. It does not get much better if better at all. As a matter of fact, many times its gotten worse. Even you have to admit some of that. I won't be fooled with my $$$$ anymore.

jodub, anyone that boasts they'd rather play a basketball game back from 2001 over NBA Live 10 is not thinking clearly. Back in the day when we had no patches it seems like nobody seemed to whine too much. NOw that we have the ability to fix problems and go to forums to nitpick every little problem, people just seem to whine and complain more. I can name 500 things that were wrong with NBA Live 96-04. But you know what, the games were so fun, I didn't worry about the problems it had. Again, you can point out all the flaws you want in NBA Live 10 and post them on a forum, but for once, how about you make a forum on the things that Live does right? I could go to every companies forum and write things I don't like about their games, Halo, Assassins Creed, Modern Warfare, people are going to dissect all these games to pieces but the good makes up for the bad, at leaset I think so. I will never proclaim Live as being perfect, far from it. But one thing it does right, "it's fun"

did you play 2K10 on PS3 or 360?, I'm not talking about the demo, the demo is horrible.

I can care less which game is better, I just want the best game. I played the PS3 version of both games and the PC version of 2K and of those three games 2K10PC is clearly the best, however, it's the only platform still waiting for a patch lucky MW2 came or I would have went postal. Ronnie just said earlier this week there is def a patch in development whish is garbage that they released it broken, but not much we can do but wait, but if online is fixed like it is in the other platforms no doubt 2K10PC will be the clear winner for less than $20.

LIVE is annoying cuz the basket moves with gameplay (how does that not bug you guys it was perfect in past versions, the basket is animated, and the melding into one another is like the plasticy players are melting like candles, lol. Decent game 7.5, decent effort EA.

2K10PS3 seems worse than 2K9 PS3, but PC2K10 is golden a 9 without online play, 10 if the patch is done right.

Honestly the best bball game I've ever played, no bs. I even like the music this year I hated it last year except for that pennies song for about a month.

Lastly OP 2K has 10X the features LIVE does, when that usually is the other way around, so I don't know what you are seeing in LIVE as well. I liked live 09 better, yeah they didn't have the animations down liek they seem to have now, but I liked the package better.

LIVE has gotta get a 2Kcam type camera I am so used to that now you really see the court so well, as well as perimeter one on one pressure D, like LIVE 2004, 2005, 2006 all had. 2006 I was killing guys with that supersteal R3 stick move, i was 2000 rated online PC, as I was in 2005, now you can't play great D anymore that's the only way I can dominate is on the defensive end and if that tool is taken away I'm just barely average, cuz I play sim and refuse to force with superstars like 95% of the players online.

Bullit, you try the Baseline high or baseline low camera on Live? It's similar to 2K, works pretty good IMO.

I like Live because of everything you said. But I must disagree with one thing you said...the gameplay on 2k is REAL!! I am a 2k guy because I want realisum. But Live is so full of life this year!!!! 2k has better gameplay but just seems boring to me. So as of right now...I play Live.

That's because you were playing against the AI. When you go online and play other users, that's when the 3pters start flying. The issue is that when the person goes to the corner and shoots them, if he's even a marginally decent 3pt shooter, it goes in. It doesn't matter who's contesting it most times. Your only hope is to get a block without the foul.

The 3 Pointer in live is absolutely rediculous. In the first game i played in made 14 three's. I even Made one with ANDREW BYNUM... TOO crazy lol.... But thats the type of game NBA Live is turning to.. ARCADE.. Like the NFL Blitz franchise... N wats wit the D n this game man??? No way the KINGS can stick wit da SUPER star team I had in Fantasy team...

they need an online Elite like in Madden. that'll kut down on all the craziness.
