Great job EA Sports. Only 2 updates in a 5 week span is nonsense to begin with, but the fact that we are now in WEEK 11 OF THE NFL SEASON, and if you start an online franchise you are stuck with WEEK 2 NFL ROSTERS??!?!?!??!?

Do us all a favor and just put out a press release that says "EA Sports Officially admits that we can care less about our consumers and fans!" Then at least we can all understand why you keep spitting in our collective faces...

well to help set the story straight, there are no more updates to get Patch #2 worked out and put into the system ASAP. I think this is way more important than another roster update...the gameplay needs a lil boost and i cant wait to get it!

This just in, next update will be August 1st, 2010 while Donnie gets his eyes fixed...

So its not just me. Has any one actually heard from EA. Are they really not updating the franchise rosters. How can you even attempt to play this game in franchise mode if #1 the rosters are all wrong. #2 The comish has no power to fix the players as they need to be. I would be ok with that option. #3 the playoff tie breaker goes to the team that is higher in alphebeitical order. cummon. and #4 Why cant the comish throw out played games due to a cheater. Or switch the correct team in to the playoffs. The commish needs more power in the online franchise mode.

Why did you even bother (EA) with franchise mode. EA should not have released this clunker this year. They should have worked all of the bugs out first then released it in 2011.

Do you really think EA is NOT going to put out Madden and steal our money year after year? Ultimately no matter how many bugs the game has, there is no competition so it's coming out.

And again, you..me...EVERYONE who complains, what do we have in common? We all bought the game already and are mad about something that is wrong with it right? So they have our money already, why bother to cater to our needs, no matter how right we are? It's not like if EA took everything we both said and fixed them, that we would go out and buy another copy...you only need 1.

No, unless we as a collective group of millions of fans come together and downright boycott Madden 2011 and the game flops will they get the message. And sadly, that will never happen. So we are all just wasting our time complaining

You know. Myself and about 20 guys in my league would volontear to sit down and fix the rosters for the online franchise. We are even OK with with the new updates. I dont understand why they cant transfer the new updated rosters to the online franchise mode?

It feels like you said, they really just dont care. Although many business right now are operating understaffed. The guys at the top wont hire enough people to do the job right. The ceos make $$$ hand over fist and they figure selling a half assed product as long as their making monsy is good enough.

I am starting to think that the boycot of EA products may not be a bad idea. Dont get me wrong I love the Madden serise in general. I have bought every year faithfully since 1995. But this attitude they have had lately just frosts it for me. They are more difficult to get answers out of than my congressman. They released an unfinished product to us. The holes in the on line franchise mode are awefull. The guys in my league want to start the playoffs over again. Out side of franchise mode. So we dont have to rely on EA math (Their really isnt any) for the playoff spots.

The sad part is, they have done 6 or 7 roster updates since the last franchise roster update. I can't see how it would be hard for them to simply put the new rosters they updated into the online franchise mode. That should be a basic fix. There is no answer other than EA doesn't give a crap about their fans.

Insults aside, would anyone from EA please like to comment on this? I would be really nice to be able to start a franchise with the same rosters that I use for regular play. If there is some sort of difficulty implementing the rosters updates into franchise mode, let your customers know. It seems like it should be easy to do, but perhaps I am missing something?

Agree. You guys are right. It's so simple to update the rosters. If they do that update, we'll be very happy.
