Why do you have to hit someone in the very top of the forehead to get a headshot kill? I agree it should be a two shot kill weapon if it is a grazing blow, or if it isn't a headshot, but any solid hit from the chin up should register as a head shot. I can't count the ammount of times I knocked someones teeth out last night and they ran away with half health like nothing happened. As I said before I did learn that hitting them in the TOP of the head was a one shot kill.

I agree. With asault rifles it takes a few bullets in the head for it to be a head shot. If you get hit in the face with a bullet, its all over. You are dead. D-E-A-D dead!

I thought those bullets have been droping! Man thats so annoying.

I like the bullet drop, takes some skill especially when they are moving cuz not only do you have to lead them but consider the drop... This is how it should be.

Drop can be good if its programed right, but right now its a bit unpredictable.

i dont know ive been scoring head shots left and right with the sniper gun.
maybe too easy. But at least now they die from a sniper bullet to the head.

Well, my original post before it somehow vanished and I was to lazy to retype everything I had in before (think I accidently ran my hand across the touch pad... lol) stated that I actually LOVE how the rounds fall over distance. It adds a level of realism that people that had sniper or rifle training in general have to account for. Anyways, with that said, NO, I am not talking about the round dropping. You can see the flight path of the round from the second it is shot... I was having more problems at mid long range than very long or short ranges. It seems as though at about the range that a round just starts to drop, that UNLESS you hit the enemy at the top of the head it doesn't register as a head shot. At longer distances (aka even in scope enemy is small and hard to spot) it seemed that I played the drop and I get constant headshots, almost as if it awards you for a well aimed shot over a long distance whether you are spot on or not. Sometimes when you hit someone in the chin or teeth it DOES register as a head shot, only problem is that just as often it DOES NOT. Top of the head ALWAYS registers as a headshot from what I have observed though. I told several people on my friends list this, and they agree that I am right about the mid and low head hit detection being flawed and top of the head hit detection is spot on!

i think sniper shots that are hits from chest up should be one shot kill cause ive hit people so many times pretty much either n the chest or head like twice n they don't even die.i know its a game n all but it gets annoying when u sit there seeing that they get hit n a critical spot n not even die.the bullet drop thats good n bad idea.but when u got a gun with perfect accuracy or comes close to it there should be no bullet drop.bullet drop should only happen if the accuracy bar is half or below.

I get easy headshots all the time, you just need to aim a bit higher thats all.

The point of my thread wasn't pointing out the fact that I have a hard time getting head shots. The point was that mid to low head shots don't always register while sniping. As I stated before, top of the head always registers as a head shot. There have been several times when I have hit someone in the nose, mouth, or chin, and it doesn't register as a head shot (aka 1 shot kill), even though IT IS a head shot.... The point of this thread is that a head shot should register ANYWHERE on the head if it is a direct hit! I already have close to 100 headshots playing the game just a couple times, and I unlocked the 10 headshots in one round badge, so if you think I can't aim, or I am complaining about the aiming system I'm not.... Just to clear that up.

Plus sniper shots don't register half the time when somebody is on the KORN... 7 shots into 1 guy, and 6 in another, all head shots, and no damage...

i still haven't figured it out i can drop a guy in two shots to a chest some times at a good distance but yet super close it will take 3 and sometimes some pistol rounds, they really need to change bullet damage

Yeah physics doesn't apply to well made guns.......

I LOVE the bullet drop.....I do NOT LOVE hitting someone in the eyes from a good distance and not seeing them drop.
