It turned from one of the best games I was ever invoved in to utter disappointment. 54 yards in one glitch is hard to take when the game is stolen from you I wished I could take it back but you know how electronic departments are with opened games and I would get Uncharted 2. This is not the only glitch I cant count them all but the very next game I played I ran a kick off all the way to his 10yd line and the screen started over and made me kickoff to him. I won that game but Madden and EA made it harder than it ever should have been.

o trust me, the madden dev crew messed up alot on this 1.today decided to play a game, opponent is running for a touchdown he gets to the 5 where im tackling him on the sideline and that triggers another animation where my cpu controlled defender tackles him while he out of bounds already resulting in an unnecessary roughness call, wtv im ticked off that the cpu would do something so stupid but wtv.so after they call the penalty,they signal touchdown....... ummmmm wtf.since wen does this game jus hand out td's now? i mean i challenged it n it got overturned no td but still,that is yet another major slip up. can anybody tell me why so many critics are praising this game so much? they obviously must not be crazy about football.

If you punted the ball out of bounds at the 29 they will mark it 5 yds up.

Problem is, they placed the ball 35 yards up.

And if he punted the ball to the 29, the ball should be placed on the 29....

Why the hell would they mark the ball 5 yards up???

When a kickoff goes out of bounds between the goal lines without being touched by the receiving team, the ball belongs to the receivers 30 yards from the spot of the kick or at the out-of-bounds spot unless the ball went out-of-bounds the first time an onside kick was attempted. In this case, the kicking team is penalized five yards and the ball must be kicked again.

in other words, you kickoff from your own 35 yard line, and 30 yards from that is their 35 yard line.

I dont think you understand. I know I did not explain it well because I was still in disbelief. I punted the ball to his 29 yard line out of bounds the ball was then placed 54 yards backwards to my 35 yard line and the guy I was playing ran the ball 5 yards because I came out in quarters thinking he was starting out on his side of the field not on my side in fieldgoal range I then paused it to make sure I was not going mental and realized that by watching the replay I was right I then asked the guy I was playing for a friendly quit but he refused so I lost 17-20.
