Is anyone having difficulties with this new game "More Workouts" where your movements are not recognized? I have 2 Wii's in the house, and both myself and my daughter tried the new game and we both had frustrating issues. Her squats were not recognized, and for me my running was sometimes recognized, sometimes not, and in water skiing when I stood to grab the flags I was not recognized. These are just a few examples, but overall this version, for me personally, seems to have glitches that I'm not sure how to correct. My leg strap is on correctly, and I am not a novice, as I have and love the first version of this game.

Has anyone else come across any of these issues, and if so, do you have any advice?

Yep on Day one, the game did not recognize my squats. On the subsequent days everything went okay.

Today, (day 6) the game did not recognize my lunges in Squash.

I'm going to give it a few weeks before I say this program is broken. It may simply be a matter of me adjusting to the movenments.

You have to hold the remote right for it to recognize. I have had no problems.

I have not had any problems so far. I have been keeping an eye on it since I did have some issues with the original, they were all eventualy solved by varying my technique. Since you are experienced with the techniques, maybe you have a defect in yours? I will continue to watch and I will let you know if any issues come up.

Hello everyone,

I haven't had any issues either. Make sure that your batteries or charged and aren't old. Dont forget that it uses the Wii-Motes power to operate. That is just a suggestion. Another solution is your sensor bar. Make sure it's in a good place and nothing can block the signal. Other bright lights or even fans can cause interuptions. Hope that helps.

I had problems with the day two leg crunches on the floor. Had to adjust my nunchuk a bunch of times for it to take.

My abs are killing me from all the extra non acknowledged reps!

yup I have had a few issues and I am not a newbie to the game or its predesser.
I found on the squash I was lunging and my leg was at an angle . when I did a kinda of squat lunge instead of a lunging move it worked. kinda like a sumo wrestler when they first start they have this wide stance and squat .
I know clear as mud but it works for me.
on the water skiing. I found I had to stand a bit before I get to the flags. If you stand right under them it wont recognize you in time.
