Has there been any talk about a new tuner update coming out? I thought they were going to do one for the new patch...anyone heard anything?

They really should make a new tuner update. The goalies need to be tuned down for a realistic feel.
They are very hard to beat on All star or higher and make the most outrageous saves.
I believe goalies should let more goals in, and players should have a stronger shot/better accuracy when they shoot in front of the net.
If you don't believe me check the stats in a REAL NHL game.
Here are a few recent games stats:

If the goalies are too hard for you on all-star, i suggest playing with the sliders to make it feel realistic. I found one for all-star i liked and i scored 2 point shots cleanly beating the goalie. here i'll post link to the sliders.

I have a problem concerning my goalie compared to the CPU goalie. I play on All-Star and have taken 40+ shots and not scored whereas the CPU scores 3 goalies on 10 shots on me.

i dont know, i play on superstar, hardcore with normal speed/passing, and i find that every game is different, i have a couple games (very rare) that i won 9-1, 8-2, and i play on 9 mins period, and then most games i win or lose 3-2, 4-1...etc, very realistic scores, as for scoring on goalies, i find it depends on what goalies, or what team (weak D...etc), and i find that NHL 10 has a lot of bounces too, so luck is involved.
i think overall the goalies are fine, i am not going to say you suck or anything, but try playing with the sliders like someone suggested, everyone plays a different style/way.
i am a diehard hockey fan, and so i play a real sim game, so when goals are hard to come by, i feel rewarded. as for CPU's goalie being better, i dont know if that's true, i mean my goalie sometimes sucks too, but if you play good D, he should be ok.
best of luck finding the right sliders

For my part I don't have any problem with the goalie, playing on superstar with hardcore settings, the majority of my games end with a ''normal'' score. I have a goal for average about 3,10.
For those who are taking a lot of shot and it doesn't go in, there is a huge difference between number of shots and the real scoring chances. Even if you score a goal from the blue line it didn't count for a scoring chance.
If you want to win the majority of your games you have to control this zone offensively and defensively
I need everybody's support for this http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/339775.page

I hope so. You cant change the sliders for goalies for online play. The goalies still flop too much, and move way to quick when responding to a shot. I watch NHL games all the time and goalies don't flop, and move super fast when a shot is taken. Like Canucks1989 posted, the red area are high quality scoring chances. You should be able to score with a good wrist shot/slapshot.
I honestly hope in the next tuner update they tune the goalies response time and desperation attempts down. They also should increase the shot power, and accuracy, allowing for clean shots to go in.

Sounds like you want glitch goals to come back lol
Soon you'll be complaining that too many "easy" goals go in lol... I suppose you guys want Nhl09 glitch drag and shoot to come back?

My main concern and hope, is that they fix the injured player glitch where he doesn't leave the ice.

EA's response to fixing glitch goals is to turn down shot accuracy, power, and make it so the puck doesn't go where you aim it sometimes. That isn't how you fix a glitch goal, it's lazy and has screwed with the game.
