I just tried to play my NHL 10 and a box popped up that says "User profile appears to be damaged and cannot be used". It gives me the option to try to retry or create a new profile. Retrying doesn't do anything.
I haven't play the game in two days. Don't know whats up. Any one know whats up?

Nobody can help me out and at least tell me if this is a problem that is being resolved?
This is my forth or fifth NHL title I've owned and I've never had this happen.

I went through a ton of profiles in NHL 08 and NHL 09. I know this problem first hand and it can be very, very frustrating. I honestly don't think there's a solution other than to make a new profile. It isn't a huge inconvenience as your online BAP stats remain, and if you load up a saved BAP file, you should still be okay. You will have to redo custom audio, sliders, and what not.
I actually haven't had this occur in NHL 10 yet, but I'm always a little wary when I sign into my profile at the launch menu. As for a solution, well right now there's nothing that I know of.

Thanks Luger, I just deleted all of my data from the game. I've had the game since it came out, pre ordered it actually - I just have only played 20 or so games of my BAP season and only a few EAHL games. (But that info is saved online anyways.)
For the future. How would I go abouts fixing my "user profile" without having to delete all of my stuff and therefore losing all my unlockables and everything like I did. That was pretty bs....
Or does everyone not even bother with the unlockables and just buy the boosts?

this happened to me to i worked pretty hard to get my stuff on NHL 10 and now its all gone and this problem seems to be only on NHL ive never ever had this problem before and im really pissed off fix this * EA

Same. Somehow i still have all of my stuff on my BAP game yet everything is locked. There is no excuse when my goalie is still equipped with its 3 slotted gears yet they are locked (which means i can't use them online anymore). How can they not save just like the rest of your stats.
