Plenty of teams go through the change. An example would be the Bucs.
Anway, after Seattle going from the superbowl to averege, to bad to terrible, i think its time for change. I mean big change. They brought in this new coach, but i think it was the wrong move. I think they should stick with Mora being that next year is rebuilding year and they need a young coach though.
They should get rid of there older, injury prone players like Lofu, Walter Jones, etc. I hate to say it but switch to those GREAT green unis. The state of Washington is going green and Seattle should join um. Draft Mark Ingram, a strong RB from Alabama, and maybe get a strong D-line player. I know you guys have Justin Forsett but i really think Mark is going to be the next Shaun Alexander.
I would'nt be afraid to tell Seneca hes the next starting QB for the Seahawks by the 2010 2011 season.
If they do a cleanout, maybe they'll be decent again. Remember there not doing well and there old, if there doing poor and there young<bucs, cheiefs> its a diffrent story.
Discuss.

I think when you rebuild a team you should ALWAYS start at the offensive/defensive line. Yes you can draft a 1st round qb or rb but what is that rb or qb gonna do when they cant get a pass off or cant get out of the backfield? Look at Miami. They draft and offensive lineman and rebuild their line and go from 1-15 to 10-6 I think it was.

Thats true, the o-line i have always said is what makes everyother guy on the offense. I do think if hes still on the board they cant pass him up.
Bruce Cambell would also be a great choice. HEs a OT and plays a zone blocking scheme at Maryland.

A great oline can make an average running back look amazing. Look at the Redskins when they won that superbowl. I forgot that running backs name but he was a backup and had like 200 rushing yards? He went onto another team and couldnt do anything. A great oline can make anyone look good.

Do you even know what your talking about? Lofa Tatupu is 28 and one of their best players. Prior to this season, he had missed ONE game. Sure, he suffered a significant injury this season, but your talking about getting rid of one of the best middle linebackers in the league? Seneca Wallace isn't a starting QB in this league. The key to Seattle being in the dumps the last two seasons are significant injuries at key positions. Hasselbeck is on the decline, but he's still a good QB when he has protection, which he hasn't this season. Seattle needs to draft a young QB.

Man Lofu is 28. your catching all my mistakes arent you. Idk it just seems like he was one of the best LB's in the league. What do you mean Seneca is not a starting QB. He gets decent stats most of the time he plays.
Im signing off.
Thanks for catching some of my mistakes. I thought he was 31 or 32 or something. Lol

Here is what i think as a diehard Hawks fan since the 90's.
change the D from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and have Mebane, Jackson, Reed as Dline men all three are good and young. have Hawthorne and Lofa as dual MLBs with Curry and Hill on the outside (i seriously think seattle has the best depth at LB with Laury, Herring, and hawthorne all playing like solid starters throughout the year). get a great young DB in the draft like Berry or the guy from USC (cause that vikings game is proof the DBs in seattle are horrible).
now as for offense, i think Hasselbeck still has a few more good years underhis belt but im happy they drafted Teel because im my eyes id rather have Teel as a starter instead of Wallace (scramblers have a long history of not living up to standards) but idk about drafting one right now cause we just got Teel last year (however if McCoy drops into the second round, which i cant see happening quite frankly, then the hawks should pick him up). no need for a running back as Forsett and Rankin have proved to me that they dont deserve to be benched again (Forsett has been unbelievably patient with the Hawks) and we dont need a FB cause Griffith and Schmitt are good quality FBs (i wish we still had Mack Strong) and Carlson is a great TE. the WR corps is also the best its really been since the Largent Era. however im not a fan of TJ so i probably would trade him for hopefully a 2nd rounder or a possible late 1st round pick. have Burleson, Butler, and Branch start and in that order because burleson has proven to me that he is a #1 WR and Butler has a lot of skills especiially with his speed and athleticism. so after all that the only neccisary need for the Hawks is the oline and personally the should go after Berry with thier first 1st round pick and go after a key Olineman for the second 1st round pick then go after the Idaho olineman if he's still available with the 2nd pick and if shipley is available in the third round (i dont really see why he would be) then the hawks should grab him but with the other rounds idk really.
Hawks fans are upset with how Ruskill is running the team but the forgot that Holmgren did a worse job than he has. another minor issue is kicker, im not a fan of Mare.

Eh, we have good running backs as it is. No matter what you wanna say, Julius Jones is a damn good HB, he just doesn't have an offensive line to run behind because of injuries. Hasslebeck is still a pro-bowl QB if he can stay healthy. We need to draft some good offensive lineman because we are desperately thin there.
As for Lofa, dude he's 28 and in his prime, he's only been injured a couple times, I would never trade away the captain of my defense no matter how good Hawthorne does. With the talent we have in the secondary, it's a shame we haven't done much there, and I put that straight on the coaching staff because with Tru, Wilson, Lucas, Babs, and Grant we shoud be fine.

im glad someone has faith in our DBs lol. i like grant and Tru and Babs but Lucas and Wilson arent at thier levels. Jones could be good but the issue is is that he's almost 30 and at 30 RBs have a big tendancy to suck even LT couldnt avoid it and thats why we need a young RB like Forsett and Rankin which i believe have a total of 3 years of NFL experiance.
