Is it possible to change the resolution to something other than the ones available as a default, for example, to 720x480 to hook my computer up to my tv and play?

thanks

yes there is just run the "BurnoutConfigTool" its in the install folder where the game is installed to windows,

just run that and change your settings from there, you can change the resolution add in multiple monitors (provided you have them and functional) add in a webcam for use (highly not recommended as player have had multiple problems with it and making their computer crash while in game)

it also depends on what graphics card you have and what resolutions it can run, the lowest in the config tool is 800x600, but that's just what it shows for my gtx 295's since i run these cards at much higher resolutions i don't want something that low, and i don't think it'll let me go any lower than 800x600, but that should still look ok on a big screen.

have fun

RichOG007 is correct - you can use the tool to adjust your resolution configuration. We don't advise that you go outside of the standard resolutions available, however.
