The one thing that I hated about FNR4 was that you couldn't have title defences in exhibition mode. I hope they have those in this game.

yh this was one of the few things i liked about Undisputed. beating brock with Big Nog in a five round fight was always fun

I do hope this game will reach higher rounds more occasionally than Undisputed did though.

i have mixed feelings about how long the fight should last. on the one hand 5 round slugfest/ground fights sound great but if you come out and just TRADE i think the fight shoulnt get out of the first round.
need a good balance of flash KO's and granite chins

If a couple of clean shots landed sure. But I hated how random the flash KO's were in Undisputed. Okay, they are flash KO's for a reason, but the frequency and reason they happened in that game really pissed me off.
In comparison to FNR4, that game has flash knockdowns that dont happen often at all. But atleast it gave me a "kick" if they happened. I hope they will occure more often in EA MMA though.
And yeah I hope they get chin rating done properly. I dont want someone with a crazy high chin rating going KO just because it "should" happen. Only for a proper reason (perfect shot) or just a TKO then.

about 50% of fights should go to descision if its 3 rounds

i think the way it should work is:
FLASH ko's = huge hit + perfectly placed i.e a looding hook when the opponant is circling off or a knee when hes throwing a ducking overhand.
Rocked = Big hit + perfectly placed i.e liver kick when someone is throking a hook
Dropped = Medium + well placed i.e solid straight if they are swingiing for the fences
Taged just a good shot so either well placed or a strong hit.
id also like to see balance KD's.

i like your ideas (this and the CAF traits one) but CLEARLY you know nothing about game engines.
what you said would be cool but its to much to handle so youll never see it in a game. lower your expectations buddy.
