Hey guys i am an avid tiger woods player and a very active member on the tiger woods forum and also an EA sports game fan. I am actually looking for another good game to play with some people i have met on tiger online so i just have some questions that i hope you can help me with. I am sure as is with new people in the TW forum everything i will ask has been discussed somewhere here already but im at work and cannot spend hours searching as the forum search feature really sucks. Dono how this forum goes but i would rather not incite any flame wars as they happen easily on the TW forum.
1. Is NHL 10 more sim or arcade.
2. Can i hook up online with my buddy in a different state and play a game on the same team or do we have to do head to head and can we play a full game with just two of us and the other members be computer controlled.
3. Have not owned a hockey game in a looong time is the game play smooth.
4. As in Tiger there is online glitchers but is it terribly difficult to get a good online match.
5. How is the hitting as one of my favorite hockey games was NHL HITS do to the hitting.
Thanks for any help.

1. There is a new feature this year, they are offering pre-made slider settings, if you choose casual, everything will be easier, but if you are choosing hardcore, you need to be more accurate before making a pass, the skills of the player are making a huge difference, with a better passer it will be easier, if your player has bad deking skill, if you are trying hard thing, he will loose the puck.
2. There goes the EASHL(EA Sports Hockey League) you can create your own team, having your friend on your team, your are playing yourself, you are choosing your position, left winger, center, d-man... and your are playing your position the entire game, you can play up to 6 friends on the same team, your are always on the ice, there is no changeup.
3. If your are talking about control, for my part I find them really instinctive.
4. It's bad to say, but every games have their glitchers, maybe Uno doesn't have them.
5. If your are playing on hardcore it will be harder, but one time you'Ve found the ''trick'', you can give a lot of huge hit.
I hope this will help you.
I need everybody's support for this http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/339775.page

Canucks hit most of them, but i think i can add a bit
2) there is no online coop (human players on the same team versus an AI team) mode
5) you wont see as many big hits in online play. If you would like to see them you can just crank up the hit power attribute for offline play and you can get some absolutely horrifying blasts comparable to HITS.

while there is glitching, it's not near the level its is for TW10, where people just flat out cheat and are allowed too...

AI in the EASHL, human if you are playing in online team play.

I think you have three options for this
1) Online NHL Team Play (i think that is still in there...). Each side plays with an NHL team, but each player is position locked. You are your body would join the same team, pick a position, and it would be possible that you play with up to 4 other people. If you do not get a full team, the remaining players will be AI controlled
2) Online Community Team Play. Uses your online Be A Pro skater. same as online nhl team play, but you are position locked and only play as the one skater with no line changes. This is open to people joining your game for both teams, again positions not filled will use AI.
3) EASHL. like online community team play but you only play with members of your EASHL team. So if you wanted you + your buddy + 4 AI skaters against whoever you are matched up against every time this is the mode for you.
