Need for Speed Racing Games

I have not been prompted to install the patch. I did as I was instructed on tech support and still no patch.
Could someone who has the 1.02 patch explain what happened when they installed it and what country version they have?

same here, i have just tried it but still doesn¡t prompt me to update...please those who were able to update tell us which country version of the game do u have...

Give it some time. I just tried as well and did not get prompted.

I'm in Wisconsin (US) and tried just a few min ago.

Patches sometimes don't go to all regions at one time. No need to call tech support on it or make a new thread...there's a thread specifically dedicated to the new patch discussion so you could have just asked there, where it's already been brought up.

Not yet prompted either: Belgium.

I guess its just the Canadian versions that have been updated at the moment.

Not all Canadian versions have been updated. Apparently mine isn't updating either. I'd wait until the 24th (Pacific time) before I really started worrying.

I think the Planet Bob version will be the last to receive the update :/....

I just ran the patch. First race was a Corvette at Silverstone. One quick lap and this car has definitely improved. I intentionally ran into the gravel and on the way back to the asphalt, where the previous Corvette would have bounced like a basketball, it stayed fairly stable. Maybe I'm wishful thinking here. More test's to come.

Just raced the Mercialago at Glendale East and it seems more stable as well. I noticed that the reverse works much faster too. Anyone feel like the reverse took an eternity with 150 mph cars coming towards? I'll need more racing to verify if these are changes or just my wishful thinking.

I'm in Wisconsin and got prompted to DL the patch at about 10pm on the 23rd. Haven't really played the game at all with the new patch though.

definite improvements but still some frate rate issues although less frequent.

and some races, I think the astro martin one, where everyone is the same car, I can't stay on the road. Even if going the same speed as the car right in front of me.

now waiting for patch 1.03.
