What is the most important part of this game to you,basd on what you will play or play the most, or both?
Please explain why you made that choice as best as possible.

I am going to put online because that has the most replayability. That is what is going to keep people on live or psn until the next EA MMA game. Look at Modern Warfare. People were still playing that online heavily until Modern Warfare 2 came out. Granted different genre of game but the online point i am making still stands. Playing against a computer is only fun for so long. Having an actual live person fight against you will always be unique and a different experience.

So in short, online

Online.
With all due respect but singleplayer (career mode if you might) gets boring to me after a run or 2.
Online competition however is the only reason my games dont start eating dust after the actual career runs. Pretty much all the games I've kept (I sold some stuff a month ago) are the ones I can still come back to for some online play (Ofcourse the real Epic games never get sold but that aside).

In the end its different for everyone ofcourse. But since Gameplay is a given, Online is my #1 priority in this poll by far.

And Modern Warfare is a good example, I did not even finish the campaign in neither of the 2 games yet. I just go online right away.




Eventually I hope, as far as online play in EA MMA goes, that the game has enough modes to keep things interesting. I am not a big fan of those Leagues but alot of other people are, so it would be awesome if they could create a ingame system for all of those people. Ingame roster and such.

And there are so many different tournaments to be made for a MMA game. that combined with trophies/belts you can win will keep it interesting for a long time.

singleplay and multiplayer...i like singleplayer cause you can do classic matchups...multiplayer can get annoying somtimes if you wanna have like a sweet matchup cause they guy will just try and play really hard...singeplayer you can battle and battle with the computer

Definately online . But to me online depends on gameplay. The only thing online needs to satisfy me is that we can play against eachother and invite friends

I like the results on the poll so far, and I am very happy noone voted for minigames. Atleast we all know what we are talking about and what we want.

I think gameplay is the most important thing-- the fighting mechanics as real as possible.

I'm not talking about muscles flexing or sweat dripping, I'm talking about just realistic movelists, not very confusing, able to execute and defend the things that real mma fighters do.

this will make all the other modes better, cuz its a fighting game. thats what you do. make the fighting right and fun. No catching punches outta the air and lifting him from a double leg and slamming him every time. to easy full mount and gnp to every victory...

Why is Gameplay not on the list? That should be the most important thing to anyone. I chose Other.

well thats a hrad choice of what i belive is the most important aspect but if i had to put them in order from most to least it would be.
1.Gameplay(styles, speed, flunentness, no lag, several venues, cage/ ring physics. realistic animations. realistic detail such as muscle deffinition, cuts & bruises etc etc)
2.Creation Modes(styles, logo creator, entrances, editable movesets for fighters, more detailed customization for fighters.)
3.Custombility With Gameplay such as controls and rules or game sliders.
4..Online Mode(online league/camps, online tournaments,online spectator mode, custom rules etc etc)
5.Career & Exibition Mode
6.Roster(plus plenty of dlc fighters that get signed after the game is already out so they can be downloaded)
7. Other features. or other modes such as offline belt fighting

all types of rings or cages to fight in. or training games that u can do for fun or to practice at in case they are in career mode..

I voted other because for me the most important thing is:


Gameplay! -- that doesnt mean good graphics, but a complete representation of mma ! Realistic and fluid movement, striking. clinching and grappling. The game can have only one mode - exhibition and I will buy it if the gameplay is better than undisputed. I dont wanna no more wooden robots in the cage please.

The second one would be customization options such as CAF and vale tudo rules.

gameplay gameplay gameplay. I don't play online so as long as the exhibition mode is solid and the none-photo-gameface CAF is good (don't use photo gameface) then its a great game for me.

we're talking the actual realistic moves, no spamming, fluidness, and basic physics (FN4 went overboard on physics and alot of the gameplay aspects suffered like fluuidity and lag)

also wit the CAF, i want to be able to make the top UFC fighters---meaning have them wit a rating in the 90s. I don't want to have to go through career made just to make one good guy

oilersguru kinda messed up on this one.I am pretty sure he wanted to know what you guys saw as most important AFTER gameplay.
Because gameplay is a given. However I guess he forgot to mention that one, and now theres multiple votes on other that couldve been on something else.

First comes Gameplay, I mean thats what its all about, whats a game without gameplay right...

After the gameplay defenitely the Career mode, I am hoping for something something along the lines of Virtua Tennis 2K2 where you travel around the world entering different tournaments train at various gyms etc,

I also think sponsors should play a role in career mode, kinda like they do in Ea Sports Nascar 08, maybe training with different with better teams should cost you more money so you could use the money you earn for something besides just better looking shorts, gloves, etc.

Just a few of my ideas...

Gameplay is always a first priority, it would be a given

i have already voted Online but if there was Gameplay those should and always should be the TWO most important things..
Gameplay - who will play the game if it has a HORRIBLE gameplay... lets just say UFC 2009 Undisputed... it was fun ... for about a month then it was boring.

Online - online is reallllllyyyy important because what else are you going to play when you finished career? and career gets boring after a while...
