What is the best weight class to start in legacy mode?

I always end up with around 200-300 more punches than my opponent...what is a realistic number of punches and realistic % of hits i should have per round?

I often see my stanima bar at around 1/4th or less after punching or whatever then thats when i stop doing what im doing, step back and wait till i get it back at 100%...when should i step back and regain my stanima? half way?

Any benefits of using a liscensed boxer in legacy mode or should i create my own boxer?

And how should i upgrade my attributes and at what time? concentrate on certain attributes first then the others or get raise them evenly?

Also is there anyone in youtube that are good at this game and who post their entire fights? i searched but always find highlights instead of the whole fights. thanks

Realism is hard to grasp comp. in the game. The sliders don't really do as much justice as they should, seem to need finer tuning. So getting a good slider setting with a corresponding diff. is important first off. So try your own setup for awhile see if you can adjust and tune it yourself so you can get an accurate output from yourself as well as the computer. I throw a lot of punches a round. In a 10 Rounder im throwing over a 1,000 punches. Landing at an average of 50%. Even when i try to change my style i still seem to throw high numbers, some fights more jabbing. Alot of times in GOAT i found i was landing 50% and the computer would land 60% because the AI is so counter-dependent as the fight went on the in-between round pts(which need to go) added up fer my opponent and almost lost me the fight. If your looking for what i think is a good Champion diff. setting you can DL mine of XboxLIVE. Again, its important to fight on several diff. and tweak sliders during fights etc...

As far as stamina, again some people jack stamina so its arcadey some lower it to a realistic level. I would really learn to play with HUD off eventually. You'll be able to tell when your fighter is tired or a lil hurt. Saving stamina is all about how you go about it and what your style is. Ima philly shelly guy, ill throw a three punch combo at most unless i got them hurt and then shell to get some stamina back, i only step back if i need to.

Ive played thru legacy mode 5 or 6x. Attribute wise i mean the mathematical thing to do would be train in what you have a chance of getting more pts in as your fighter progresses. But if your style is to fight with speedy guys and you want to concentrate on that your going to have to get real good at thos training games. Simulating doesnt get you far. I never used s current fighter. I dont think you get any advantages. Either way i always used a created guy. As far as weightclass, again its preference. No one is better than the other. I like the welterweight division. But i did legacy on heavyweight as well.

I dont know how to record the fights in a good quality, i wish someone would tell me how to. I have had a lot of good fights.

Look up lefthandlead for youtube fights - good stuff. I'd try to help out more with your legacy questions, but I haven't played it in awhile and just kind of felt my way through it. I don't think a weight class really matters, other than not taking heavyweight so that you can move up a class eventually. As for which attributes are most important, I found stamina (especially) and punch power were the most important initially. Thankfully you can get both in the same training game if I remember correctly.

Weightclass in legacy - Start 2 legacys and see what you prefer. Do a lightheavy and a lightweight or something close. Give them different styles etc. See what class you do the best in then stick with that one.

Punch output - Lower weights throw more punches in real boxing ( on average ). An average heavy might throw only 20-40 punches in a round, an average welterweight might throw 60. Thats in a full 3 minute round. That would be pretty boring for a game so if you average under a 100 per round, your stamina will stay up better and your punches will then do more damage when you do land. Just work on making every punch count. Footwork is important, keep movin if your not punching.

Stamina bar - Dont keep draining it all the way down, your a sitting duck when your gassed.

CAB or liscensed for legacy - Completely your choice. You may find a liscensed boxer that has a reach advantage but thats about it.

Legacy points - I do 1 session between fights for the first 2 years. That equals 8-10 fights per year if you dont take much damage. Then I go to 2 sessions between from there on out unless I wanna kill time towards the end of the calender year and let some boxers retire so I get new opponents.

I up my stats equally so I'm not lacking in any 1 area but its up to you what you work on first.

thanks for all your answers. got some more questions. does the swelling and cuts attributes mean the better we can avoid them or how we give them to opponents? and head and body toughness mean its harder for us to get knocked down?

swelling and cuts attributes to determine how susceptible your fighter is to cutting and/or swelling. The higher the rating the less susceptible he is to those. Head toughness and body toughness i've assumed has meant how well you are able to take an accumulation of punches throughout a fight to those locations. Chin rating would contribute more to a fighters ability to get KD...flash KD or legit.

to punch their nuts......lol.....you just have to hold L while doing the headbutt.

And always try to keep your stamina bar full. The higher it is, the more powerful your punches are.

Also....when I first started playing this game I threw around 100 punches a round. Now I throw around 50
