I just installed AIX core and core maps in the order I said them but when I tried to load a map it crashed to the desktop I tried reinstalling it but that didn't work. I have the 1.50 bf2 patch would that make it not work?

As far as I understand, yes the AIX2 Mod doesnt work with patch 1.50. Use patch 1.41 which is compatible with AIX2 mods.

i have aix2 installed and im using it wil bf2 patch 1.5 just fine

AIX 2.0 and Steam version of BF2 patched to v 1.50 works great on my 64-Vista system WHEN STATS ARE DISABLED.

As soon as I enable the stats tracking option in BF2SPCC, my system hangs upon the completion of the first round. I've not yet figured out a solution. I just picked up a CD copy of BF2 and am going to attempt to run version 1.41 from a different directory strictly for use with single player games and the most excellent mod AIX 2.0.

I figure it's good odds that I'll run into some registry problems with the two installs... but what the heck... maybe I'll learn something useful.

i got AIX 2 mods ccore download, map pack and server download, when i open a map that doesnt have a picture it crashes to screen, what do i do??? i cant get 1.41 patch again can i???

i just ran a few maps to test when it crahes, it gets to 13% on objects then crashes on prety much any map without a picture or backround

AIX 2 works just fine on my system with patch 1.5, using XP Pro SP3.
If we want bot commanders, however, we have to revert to 1.41:

server files and client files were the same, was i supposed to replace them???

Unless you're going to run a server, you only need the mod and map files: http://www.aixtended.com/clientfiles.html

Install mod first then maps. Allow the AIX installer to use the folder it wants to use. Mine didn't work on the first install; I discovered it was because I had specified custom folders for the install and AIX couldn't locate some of the files it needed.

If you want to run a server, you'll obviously need the server installation file as well. You'll also need the patch that fixes issues with patch 1.5 and the AIX server.
