EA seems to be taking a proactive approach and is listening to their community when it comes to game improvements. Everyone comes on these forums to flame and spew negativity, why not turn it into something positive and try to help to make next years game even better?

Bad AI positioning. In this vid I am controlling the winger who is going to win the race for the puck. CPU center (#9 Modano) should stay in the slot to recieve the pass but instead moves to possibly the worst place he could go.

Diving poke when on a breakaway. We've all had it happen to us, we all hate it. In this vid the diving CPU defenseman doesn't come anywhere close to making contact witht he puck yet he still strips me of it.

Ye the diving pokecheck is really overpowered. Impossible to score on a breakaway if you have a defender behind you and 9 times out of 10 you dont even get a penaltyshot nor penalty. Can't belive EA haven't fixed this yes..


The first video is correct in one way and uncorrect in another. The reason for the bad positioning is cause you'r controlling the wrong winger. Correct me if im wrong but isnt that the right winger you'r skating towards the puck with? That would explain you'r teammate is also skating towards the puck.
Now, when this might be an explanation it's still wrong. Your teammate should know you'r going to grab the puck and therefore change position. However, this isnt true AI so i guess we'll have to accept it
