Hey guys, this thread is for discussions around Ratings in NBA LIVE. Anything in the ‘DNA Ratings’ screen is part of this. Feel like someone is higher/lower than they should be in some ratings? Bring it up here. Keep in mind many of the ratings are driven off of weekly updates from ESPN and Synergy stats, but others are more subjective. Let us know what you think.

Mo Williams and Jameer Nelson are over rated. Somehow both of these players have become better in online rank games than Lebron and Howard respectively. That's the problem with statistics it doesn't take into account if they were double teamed or free when they took the three's. If there are spots in the floor show they are 50%, cheesers would shot from there, guarded or not, it will went in 50% of the time because DNA said so. I suggest that aside from actual stats, % should go down by the degree of diffiulty maybe multiply 10% chance if it's double teamed or well-guarded. Just my 2 cents.

The 3pt shooting success rates have been adjusted in the recent title update. These guys should be less effective going forward.

Marcus Thornton needs a serious 3pt shooting increase, right now, I think he's in the 30's but he is probably the best outside shooter on the Hornets behind Stojakovic.

Ty Lawson (Den) and Ryan Gomes (Min) should receive some boost in their ratings.

how in the world does shaq get a higher hustle rating then anderson varaejo? varaejo is one of the best hustle Players in the nba. All he does is make hustle and effort plays. thats his specialty and thats why he is so loved and valued by the cavs and their fans is for his great hustle and effort plays that he makes. Thats the one thing that needs to be changed. Players like varaejo Need to have very high hustle ratings cuz thats their specialty. they classify players as shot blockers and give them very high block ratings and they give high flyers high vertical and dunk ratings, but they give hustle players like varaejo average hustle ratings. its ridiculous. giving those kinds of players high hustle ratings wont change their overall ratings alot and it shouldnt, but it would allow those players to play more like they do in real life, making the game that much more realistic.

How much further are you gonna drop Deron Williams? He's at an 85 now (I believe he started at 91). You're telling me Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups, Aaron Brooks, Baron Davis, Devin Harris, Jameer Nelson, and Tony parker are all just as good as D-Will? They're all 84 ovreralls. There is no way Chris Paul should be 4 ovr higher than D-Will. He shouldn't be higher at all. They should both be 91 or 92.
Shout out though for moving Monta to 85 and Randolph to 82

Chris Paul is the best PG in the league, he should be a 94 at least, not an 89, as for Williams, I'd give him 90-91, but not any higher...

You are a Jazz fan, of course YOU think Chris Paul isn't better than Deron Williams, every basketball fan knows CP is the best PG in the league.

Shooting success is all from Synergy, so he'll have his exact shooting % as he does in real life.

Ok, I was talking bout his 3pt shooting likelihood, I know Peja's is 99 and Thornton's is in the 30's, I was saying that the likelihood should be raised into the 60's at least
