As of right now there is no official street date, as confirmed by the Community manager (sk88z).
Once I learn the date I will post it here for all to see.
Oh and yes I know the title is very misleading.

This is very good! It sounded at one point like it was never going to be released.
EDIT: I also wonder if this has anything to do with EA's "new" sport title to be announced in Jan 2010. I doubt it as it is not exactly "new" just not well known (The PS3 and Xbox 360 version anyway...)

No I don't think so. I think EA is going to announce that they will be picking up Baseball again. as the contract with 2k is up. GST was announced already this year.

EA STOP WAITING FOR PROJECT NATAL TO RELEASE THE GAME.
just use other controls, the aussie open is soon, you know how many people are going
to wish they could play a great tennis game on the 360 and ps3?? C"mon guys stop
wasting time and get your act together and live up to your EA name. you already see
how many people have problems with the wii/wii motion plus controls, so why waste time on it.

So i was so mad when they first suspended the production, does this mean the suspension is off, and they are back in production?

Thanks much for the info oilersguru. I agree with many others on this forum that motion control would NOT be a good idea, and I've been dying to get my hands on this game since I first heard about it many many months ago. So please EA, listen to us and get it done right! (and hopefully sometime soon!)

Way to go EA you guys are the best at dissapointing your tennis fans. People are watching the aussie open pumped up to play tennis, and you still have not realized maybe you should release the game for the 360 and ps3, and not wait for the motion controls, but instead you want to us to wait so you can say now you can play the game with most authentic feel of tennis, well incase you havent noticed its not going to happen. The motion control is a fail not an epic fail but it fails when it comes to certain games, especially tennis. There are countless threads about how the controls are an issue and there are so many glitches online. You announce on your site NBA JAM, FIFA 2010, but have done nothing about tennis. Sure there a lot of tennis fans out there, they love the game and love to play tennis video games. But for how long if they keep failing? Or putting the hopes that your EA name will live up their expectations? Look how deep the mens game is right now Nole, Rafa, Murray. Tsonga, Del Port, Davy, and of course king 16. Same thing on the womens side so many familiar faces and new ones that when people watch they want to play as one of them, but play the style that it looks on tv, and if you play tennis, get that feeling like you are on the court, but not with the motion controls. thomas singleton says in one of the videos about the game you see tennis is about bringing your opponent into the net? really? is that the only factor of tennis? i hope there are others out there who feel the same way as i do and its that please stay away from the motion controls and make the game as real as possible, no diving, make the ball loose and not feel like its on a string, let cords, the ball should have different speeds and angles depending how it comes off the racquet, shanks, free loose movement with the player and the racquet, when the ball hits the line on courts the ball should skid, all of it just watch a couple matches of the aussie open and you can learn so much of what to put into the game. Or just release the game to what you think is good and then later on if people want changes just make updates available online. but done make threads and forums if you never ever respond to them or keep them posted of whats going on. so all i ask is that you release the game soon and really watch a lot of tennis and get some people who play tennis to give their input on what needs to be changed. do not wait for the motion controls and give the ea fans and tennis lovers what they want.
