Is there a roster update for GM mode yet? I went into myeahockey and then to roster update and it said no updates available at this time. Am I looking in the right place? Any help would be appreciated. ConsoleS3

someone said they went online to the shootout section and it automatically did the roster update.
then he went back save his rosters. not sure if this is correct

I saw that thread and did that. It downloaded the roster update to somewhere but it never asked for a name to save it. It not where I can load my other roster file at. I wonder if that saves to an online roster server or something.

I went to start an online game and it asked me to download the update and then it asked if I wanted to save. That's how I did it.

play an online game then go to My NHL11 then save/load/delete and save the roster.

Quite admittedly, it's nice to have the rosters updated, but holy crap, I'm thinking it was a bunch of colorblind monkeys that did the colors for the goalie equipment. It's gonna be a long night for me, fixing up all this stuff.

That was by far some of the most constructive wording in the book. You do get a roster update then you come around and insult the developers.

If you play anything but online, do NOT do this roster update. Your team will ship most of your starters to the minors.

EA dropped the ball big time here.

Insulting is a strong word, but just look at all the goalie gear. A good 70% of it needs to be fixed because certain areas of it were turned black (particularly the outside edges of the Reebok Revoke pads and many others).

A bit of due diligence does need to be done to make sure the visuals look fine when something gets updated. That was not done in this case.

I have no problem with him expressing his opinion about the pads and that they are not good colors yet calling people "bunch of colorblind monkeys" is not the way to go about it.

See what I mean there your point was to the point and mentioned what you did not like and what should be fixed. For me I would not have noticed a problem unless someone like you pointed that out to me.

That's perfectly fine. We all have our things that we look at. Being a graphic design major and former EA game tester, graphical issues are always very glaring to me. I think the devs would likely have hated me if I were on the testing team. It'd be March Madness 07 all over again.
