Myself and Yari are starting a campaign to the EA MMA developers, to get Bas Rutten to provide the commentary for the Japanese org/s in the game.

I've read people saying that they want Bas as a commentator in the game, so now here's your chance to show your support, and hopefully we can make the developers see that they .NEED. Bas to provide the commentary for Dream (+ Sengoku, if it's included )

*Note* Regardless of who you want providing commentary with him, eg Quadros, Schiavello , Rice, Mezger etc,
this post is designed just to gain support for Bas Rutten... there are other threads for those guys, or commentator requests.

Yeah I think he should definitely be there. His commentary can bring both entertainment and knowledge. I really hope the team will consider asking him to do this. If he was more active on twitter I would ask him if he is interested like they did with Schiavello, but unfortunately he doesnt really answer much fans. However since EA already asked him to come back to do a tutorial, I think it will be enough if we just run a poll and get as many supporters as we can.

Bas Rutten commentary is the only way to beat UFC Undisputed on every department, because I truely believe they did an awesome job on that, but I also believe it can be done better with the right combination. Besides Bas has done some commentary for DREAM before so even though he does not do it anymore right now, theres no reason not to have him.

IDK Yari, UFC commentary was excellent. They used hightlight lines from past bouts & the chemistry was amazing. It really felt like they were commentating the video game fight. Very Entertaining Joe Rogan, he has a great personality.

EA has their work cut out for em , if they think they can out do Joe Rogan & Mike Goldberg.

Here's another vote for Bas.

Not only is he a brilliant color commentator but his anecdotal tangential style fits perfectly with the random nature of AI commentating. Hearing all of his crazy * stories while you are beating somebody up would be icing on the cake.

He's awesome. He definitely would be a great addition to this game. Best Commentator in MMA, period !

There shouldnt even be a campain. Bas is known for being a fighter AND comentator so it was a no brainer. He definately has my support tho.
