Hello everyone,
We identified a bug in the Graphic Profiler in which it would choose settings automatically that may be well above the capabilities of your hardware.
If you are experiencing lag or general sluggishness, please enter the Graphic Profiler in-game and turn down the Graphic settings.
Steps to access Graphic Profiler:
1. Enter into game
2. Select Menu from the top left of the game window
3. Select Settings & Controls
4. Select Graphic Settings
5. Click the Checkmark to deselect Auto Settings
6. Make settings lower to appropriately match your hardware
This issue with the Graphics Profiler will be addressed and this workaround should only be temporary.
Thank you!
-Vince

My computer was working perfectly two days ago in 1920 X 1200 W full screen. Yesterday it went sluggish and gave me the warning you are talking about. I had to lessen the resolution but was still jerky in the other full modes. Only way I could play yesterday was in window mode. Then noticed the "3-click" method was unstable. Hope you can get back to where I was two days ago. I played nine rounds with NO glitches of any kind. LOVE the game by the way. It's going to be a really nice game once the kinks are worked out!

Sorry to say, Vince. I tried all those suggestions and it just doesn't help. Today with over 200 golfers online lag was present as it has seemed to be all this Open Beta period. Also played a tournament about 4pm and once I signed my scorecard, I got booted from site. Had to resign back in. Seems to be a continuing problem

Adjusted all graphic settings to low and still have lag on redraws and using the 3 click meter is impossible at this stage.
Don't know what happened as I have been playing most of the day off and on and just started with this problem about forty minutes ago. Only thing changed was the amount of players online (217). I tried IE8 and was booted off completely before I could even start a round. Did get one error message.....game client out of sync with server. Went to send a bug report but Firefox closed down.
On a nicer note...I really enjoy this game....much better than previous versions of TW. Still learning new things every round and that keeps me interested.
Keep up the good work!!

Three click lag is an issue that needs to be addressed. A local install of the three click meter to avoid over-network lag would be better. There may end up being lag in the animation of the swing but at least it won't mess up the timing of the users swing.

Sorry to say after a enjoyable morning, lag is back.
Even simple things like loading these forum pages is very slow in loading.
Getting small freeze ups while playing tournament on Wolf Creek. About 130 golfers.
And loading a course is very slow again.

The lag is still eFn horrible. I didnt get disconnected at all, but the lag was so bad I tried to closeout everything else a few times and it was still bad.
This has GOT to be fixed.
Im pretty much at wits end with this.
Maybe no one else has this issue. But I have it on my home PC, my laptop, and my work PC.
I play in various browsers (explorer, safari, flock, firefox - my first choice) and im still having serious, serious, SERIOUS lag and delay issues.
Its not my computer. It could be my network. But that would seem unlikely. As I continue to point out, I play CoD MW on line somewhat frequently and it requires much more juice on MY END and I have absolutely no issues whatsoever playing that at full capacity.
I feel like im pretty much finished if this doesnt get corrected. Im certainly not going to drop coin on this if I simply cant play it.

I agree, BPSkelly. It seemed like it was getting better. Now it's back and sometimes worse.
I am sure EA sees this. They just need to give it a little more priority.

This is a big issue.
I can only play at work, where there is super fast broadband. At home, on average broadband it takes me at lease 15 minutes to load a course. It has been this way since the first beta and I have not seen any improvement at any time.
Unless this is improved upon dramatically, there would be no reason for me to subscribe, as multiplay is not an option (who is going to wait 15 mins for me to load?).
If you want to sell this product to your average Joe you want to make sure he can actually play it effectively.

I agree. It's a very big issue that just doesn't seem to getting better.

it's pretty brutal when somebody's connecting into game and you're wondering if they are on a 56k modem because you're loaded and your whole party's been waiting on 1 person for over 5 minutes, at least implement a majority autoboot so if it's like a 4 person party if 3 are loaded and waiting on 1 boot that person after X amount of time or something of the likes because it seems there's no boot feature currently (or maybe I'm wrong).
Also yes the 3 click lag is pretty much unbearable I use it for more refined shots (needs 54% power to chip etc.) and then and up slicing my shot all to shiat so I would of basically been better off simply guessing with true swing. X_X

Ok, guys, trying another fix in this morning's update to cure the lag/sluggishness. Please try it out after the servers have been updated and post your findings.
Thanks!
